Good luck on the writing kat! That's something I've always thought about doing but just can't figure out how to form it.

This past week was S18 and his girlfriend 2 month anniversary. he is crazya bourt her and he asked me to help find some flowers for her. I gave him the name of a couple places after the one place we went to was really expensive.

So he ends up going where his Dad always bought my flowers and once they get his name they ask if he is related to so and so (his Dad) so he says yes. They said something like they were hoping he wasn't going to do the send flowers to 2 women thing like his Dad was. OMG, even the florist knew he was cheating on me!!

Keep reminding me to slow down, I don't have spell check at work and my fingers like to run sometimes! Yikes!!

Really sad is that he is still sending flowers on special occasions. They are from the kids but he always signs his name. He didn't help the girls with my birthday this year(I think I ticked him off at the doctors because I said we weren't friends...as if!!) but the girls still pulled together some of their stuff and gave me a couple of presents.

I know if I didn't go get something for their Dad he wouldn't get anything as I wait until the last minute and ask them what they have gotten him. It is sad, I don't know if it is time to let him feel that too.

This discussion is interesting. My XW's 40th birthday is coming up. The marriage was falling apart when I turned 40 and not only didn't she do anything for it, she shot down a plan by my daughters to throw a surprise party.

That was 2 1/2 years ago. Now, I've been toying with getting her black balloons delivered to her work with a simple happy birthday.

Don't do it unless you are hoping to stir up a hornet's nest. Black balloons as a joke from a female friend on a woman's 40th birthday....fun. Black balloons from XH on her 40th birthday.....slap upside the head and a twist of the knife to the gut.

Oh, that was bad of me. Right after the divorce, at Christmas, I was not going to get him anything unless it was from the kids. Then the kids told me he had bought me a gift from him, so yes, I felt like I needed to.

Over the past 3 years we have continued this but as gifts from the kids. The exception has been the flowers which he continues to sign. I guess how I will see how I feel and go from there. right now, I am thinking it isn't my issue.
