Hey Handsome,

Sorry the Greek Lady was a bust, her loss. Take your time mending...don't push it...(I love that I can nag people virtually, gives me something to do). Seriously, take it easy.

Yeah, I guess she wasn't a real Greek! She sure sounded like one!

The mending continues, the doc says we can see the edge of the woods from here. He has a couple of close experiences with asthma treated by others that he has known, or in relatives, so he takes it really seriously. I feel like I am at 80%, if I was starting here I probably wouldn't even be concerned. He wants to see me next week, just to make sure I am over it.

I need to think of a thread title... any ideas?

How about Get to Know Me...You Won't Regret It? No and the "?" is not in the title of the thread. smile It just sounds positive and that is how I see you.

Well, if you are going to stick with the "mena ja trois" theme, the next line is Where the kisses are hers and hers and his, Three's Company, too.

How about something a bit more gloomy...Countdown to the Big Five-O

Less than 3 months away! Come on in - the water is fine.

Decisions, decisions....

I don't know that I had thought the whole Three's Company thing through when I started it!

You had to point out how close 50 is, didn't you! Though I find it bothers me less than it seems to bother a lot of people.

Us guys probably take the turning 50 better than the ladies. I asked a lady last week that I met how that 50 thing was working out for her - she said that she did not know whether to be angry or laugh at me for asking such a thing. For instance, if we start counting down days before 50 for Kat727 or Dagny-2, they will not be too thrilled.

I kinda like the 50 thing. Last night when going to pay at Sweet Tomatoes, the cashier asked "what are the ages?". I instantly said 50, 9 and 8. She laughed and said she only needed the kids ages. I get no discount!

The Orleans hotel in Las Vegas and its sister properties have Young at Heart free promotions for seniors 50 and over. I signed up and got the senior sticker on the card just because it was my first time being classified as a senior citizen.

Have you started looking around at retirement communities yet?

You know, it's funny. If the market turns, and I can sell my noose, I mean house, I might well look at some of the retirement communities around here. A lot of them are on golf courses! smile

You are darn tooting that you better not start my countdown yet!! I think 49 will be harder just as 39 was. Of course if I have a party or something it will make it better. smile. I am just now getting used to 46... don't rush me.
