See that was a personal attack. Very unattractive. cool
Actually, it was a sincere question - I really wanted to know. I've always thought there was something about the Beatles that I was missing. I'm not a musician - maybe that's why I don't fully appreciate them. You think?

Maybe... I mean I was in band all through high school and even in college, but more concert band not rock band.

I just don't see what makes them so much more masterful than other bands...

As far as Rush, those songs just go on forever! And I don't 'get' them. Maybe that's why I like country so much. Most of the songs actually have story lines I can follow! smile

Yup, I agree with you here.

I pray your brakes go out runnin’ down a hill
I pray a flower pot falls from a window sill
And knocks you in the head like I’d like to
I pray your birthday comes and nobody calls
I pray you’re flyin’ high when your engine stalls
I pray all your dreams never come true
Just know wherever you are, honey, I pray for you

Me neither smile

I've yet to find one that likes Rush either, kinda like I have never known a woman who liked the movie Apocalypse Now...

I think it's the man thing.
cool

I looked in the mirror today
My eyes just didn't seem so bright
I've lost a few more hairs
I think I'm going bald

I think I'm going bald

Seems like only yesterday
We would sit and talk of dreams all night
Dreams of youth
And simple truths
Now we're so involved
So involved with life

Walk down vanity fair
Memory lane everywhere
Wall Street shuffles there
Dressed in flowing hair

Once we loved the flowers
Now we ask the price of the land
Once we would take water
But now it must be wine
Now we've been
And now we've seen
What price peace of mind

Take a piece of my mind

My life is slipping away
I'm aging every day
But even when I'm grey
I'll still be grey my way
