Just woke up to spend some time with my cat. I think her days are numbered, and I am afraid the number is small. I hope I am wrong. But she isn't eating, and she is getting less active, and really skinny. S12 isn't supposed to be here this weekend (S15 is) but I may ask xw to bring him by. I don't think kitty will be here next weekend. I am sad. She got me through all of this.

In better news, I am going golfing with my former date this morning. I hope to just have fun. I hope I can put my cat out of mind for a few hours.

Poor Charlotte and Jeff!! Animals are so unconditional. They just love you. Have you checked with a vet? Maybe it is something minor(crossing my fingers). Let us know. Thinking of you.

I'm so sorry to hear that Charlotte isn't doing well Jeff. Our pets become so important to us, especially when we are having tough times. She has gotten you through a lot.

Well love on Charlotte while you can, I know you will/are/have. Animals are better at unconditional love than humans. Who else would kiss me when I have morning breath, bad hair, and haven't shaved my legs? They are usually happy just to be in our presence it seems.

Enjoy the golf with the non-date...we'll see if she can keep up those self-imposed limitations. I just played Wii Golf for the first time this week at our hotel and I really enjoyed it. Think sis and I are golfing for real this weekend...

Thank you so much for all of your good wishes. I made an appointment for Charlotte this afternoon. So, at least I will know. She has gotten worse really quickly, so maybe she is sick... I don't know, but I would hate for it to be something simple and not do anything about it.

Golfing this morning was fun, only nine holes, but I did pretty well. We both agreed that it was a little strange, but we are going to try to make it work as friends. She said again that her friends were surprised that I stayed for dinner the night she told me. And that I was a great guy. Going from friends to "something else" would be a lot easier than the other way round, I will tell you that!

I played last night on a par 33 nine hole course and shot a 46 - I got 7's on the first 2 holes!

I have a date tonight with the now 50 year old lady who I have not seen for 3 weeks. I'm doing like you and going the friend plan with her although we do smooch a bit.
