I like the monsoon season here. A trip up the mountain takes the temps down a good 20 degrees, which makes for a nice afternoon, and the evenings can cool off a bit!

And on Saturday evenings, the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is open into the night.... it is a unique experience. Get your google out!

There's the Pima Air and Space museum, which is actually really good... lots of it is outside, but there are some excellent inside exhibits, as well.

There are a couple Casinos, not talking Vegas, but if you need to part with your money, they'll take it!

Tombstone isn't far if anyone wants to go back to the Wild West, San Xavier Mission is worth a look, as well.

And, unfortunately, I'm not being paid by the Chamber of Commerce!

Nope! Central California doesn't start til you get down towards Modesto. There is a distinct climate change as you get down into the valley there. Plus there's not enough people north of Sacramento to count for much except Redding LOL.

I have done the Sonora Desert Museum twice...but never at night. That would be SO cool!!!!

Tombstone is also super cool. smile

There is tons of bird-watching in AZ if you are into that. They have one of the most amazing hummingbird populations.

I know this is tough. I got books for Colorado, Utah, Arizona and I have one on Tennessee. This needs to be decided in the next week or so to get decent reservations I think. How many people are going? So far I know of 4 that are pretty sure that is Jeff, me, Michelle and Bobbi Jo. Jeff I am sure wouldn't mind getting stuck with all of us girls! lol

I gather you guys want near a golf course, hotel has to have a spa or at least the options of a massage and a pool is a must. What else?

Today was a good day. Spent the morning with a good friend, lots of smiling. Then kids, golf, kids pizza, and bed. Hard to beat.
