(((((poet)))))(((((Julia)))))

I am lonely, at least sometimes, but I don't think I'm wallowing. Well, maybe a I wallow a little now and then, but it's not controlling me. I've never been hugely social and outgoing, so I look at what's happening now as "baby steps" towards that. If nothing else, I have learned patience!

I've been getting to church semi-regularly, though I'm thinking I may visit some others. I think I am slowly spreading out, I just need to consciously remind myself to do it!

Jeff--Compared to when you joined this board, I have seen tons of forward momentum! smile

Very glad to see you coming out of your shell. You are quite a special guy and it's time you let others see that more... smile

I think we all wallow from time to time, I know I am guilty of that but I always think that DB and all the pick me ups I've received from this board over time helps me to not stay wallowing for too long.

I've found this amazing food over here. Sticky rice with Mango and Coconut milk. Seriously, I could eat it everyday and I reckon that I could cope with making that when I get home too.

I am hooked on the Japanese version. Sweet rice with banana and milk. That's some good stuff!

I would be in heaven down there with the food. I love Thai food. There a couple good restaurants here that I hit up regularly for my curry fix. grin

Jeffers!

Never forget how amazing you are. You, Woog, Kerry, and John were the guys who rallied around me when I first got here and helped me pretty much EVERY DAY for that first year, plus... crazy

You guys don't post nearly as frequently, which is a good thing because you are moving on with life... But I miss you! smile

I also like Thai (XW is from there), Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese. But my favorite of all seems to be Korean. I am having my 6th date tonight and taking her to the big Korean grocery store/restaurants behind my house (she gets to tour my home). It is the spicy tofu seafood soups that I love the most...
