Thanks, Kerry.

When the Suns play like that, I'm not sure they can be beaten. But it's pretty hard to bring that game every time! I don't know how you defend them when they get in rhythm. Nash will find the right guy, in the right place to make his shot.

It will be interesting to see how the Blazers bounce back, and I expect they will. Don't know if it will be enough, but I dont't think they are losing by 30 in the Rose Garden!

The Rose Garden is very loud! But it sure did not help the Winterhawks (hockey) in the playoffs as they lost all their games at home.

If Batoom is hurt it will really be hard for the Blazers. The Suns can go ten deep, and still really play. That's got to wear a team down at the pace they like to play. I think it's one of the big differences over the D'Antoni teams. Still hard to win road playoff games, even if you are the better team.

In other news, there were layoffs at work yesterday. I'm glad it wasn't a couple or three years ago. There is of course speculation that there may be more, but I rather expect that's just rumors. If I got hit, I don't think there is any way I could stay in town, which would be really unfortunate. But as far as my industry goes, it's really a one horse town. I don't think I want to think about this right now!

If we get down to less than 5 players, we have coach Nate who probably can still play.

I am going to a girl scout camp next month at a place owned and operated by former World Champion Trail Blazer Larry Steele. He has his number retired and was the first person to lead the league in steals when they started keeping track of such statistics.

I think it is interesting how many former Trail Blazers end up living here after their career is over. We even have one named Chris Dudley who is running for governor. He was one of the worst free throw shooters when he played, but his defense was pretty good.

Uggh on the work situation. At your advanced age, it is not very desirable to have to go looking for another job.

Meh! Look who's talking about advanced age!

The thought is scary. And surviving round one means that if there's another, the target is a bit closer to everyone that's left. Just have to try to stay out of the crosshairs.
