I LOVE the Legends!! My son's fave is the TRex. We went there for two of his birthdays, plus once after he got his ear tubes in. All together though we prob ate their 8-10 times in the 3 years we lived in the area. I loved going to Cold Stone and then sitting by the fountain...

The girls wanted to go there right after we ate but we already had ice cream at the cafe! We window shopped a bit and then sat by the fountain where S14 procedded to splash me!

D9 is a bit tenative about going to that house I want to see in Iowa, so worse case scenario it will be me and D11. I will let you know and maybe we can meet up before or after depending on your schedule.

It is funny. The kids are really big on K, they even have nicknames for him. I have told them that neither of us is looking to get married any time soon but they still ask what about K even if I mention meeting a friend that is a guy.

I don't think that it is bad that they met him but just goes to show that it is better to wait until something more solid is happening.

Not necessarily. It's a learning experience for them too. They need to see what life is really like. So, maybe not a bad thing.

Oh you have to love the optimism of kids today. My son was asked to the prom via text at 8pm last night and it is Saturday! Have to see if he can get off work if he works the night shift, see if he can get a tux, money pulled together, tickets...can I stop pulling my hair out yet??? lol

They don't have a clue. Maybe that is why they have more fun...

I think he is in shock. He wasn't planning on going. The girl that asked him is the one he really liked last year but she was dating someone. He doesn't have any idea how much he has to do in such a small amount of time. lol

Ex just called and acted as if he had put in tons of time already trying to figure this out. Whatever. He is willing to help money wise which is great considering he hasn't paid me alimony this week(said with sarcasm).

He keeps saying they are just friends. she isn't with the guy she used to date anymore so he could just be playing this off like no big deal. Meanwhile Mom's gray hair is popping out all over!! LOL
