You're not being a doorknob. D8 also fought MRSA for years, she would get cysts on her bottom and they think she carried it in her nose. Go to a specialist. I finally got my D8 into the practice's infectious disease specialist and he had it gone after one round of a new-to-us antibiotic. This was after 3+ years of off-and-on treatment with her regular doctor.

Thanks. I hate feeling like some lunatic conspiracy theorist. But I have had this crap enough times I can tell when I feel "off"... sorry your D had to deal with it, maybe I should ask my doc for a referral to a specialist.

Coincidentally my sister had it in her sinuses and had to go for multiple surgeries and months of drugs to fight it...granted she was working as a wound care nurse at the time so a pretty high exposure rate...

Definitely....get to the doctor and immediately ask for a referral to a specialist. You have had this too many times and need a better course of treatment.

Help!

So R and I have been texting a little every day. Today he asked me when we were doing to do some of those things on our 'list'...while we were eating we each talked about things we liked to do and noticed some things in common (golf, independent films, piano bar, bookstores, etc etc).

So I told him a couple of times I was free...

He replied back: "My treat?"

Mind you, I still don't know if it was a date or a friend thing, so I didn't know how to reply...

I said, "You don't have to do that! I can pick up my end..."

He replies: "I don't mind if you don't"

I wasn't sure if he meant he didn't mind paying or he didn't mind if I paid, so I just replied, "Ok then"

So he texted back, "Depends on how u want to handle it"

So, what am I supposed to do? I am fine with paying my way, however in a dating scenario I would want the guy to pay sometimes...I don't know if he is asking bc he is trying to figure out what I think it is...

It's been too long. I am rusty...

I replied back that he could get this one and I would grab the next, and he agreed to that.

I did my 5K on the elliptical at the Y, then got the kids from the in-laws. They took the kids after school since I had meetings and Dan is in Canada. Got to see/pet my dog, the Blue heeler Dan and I had 10 yrs ago when we had 10 acres for her to run...she has lived with the inlaws for 8 years but still loves me to death whenever she sees me!

Kids were having ice cream when I got there, MIL offered me some but I resisted...haven't lost much weight since I started training for the 1/2 marathon but definitely firming up!
