Awww shucks...thanks guys! I'm fine. I've been reading along, just not posting.

Yep, enjoyed Metallica. Wish I weren't sitting in my office listening to the 'twangy' country station. Grrr....I like country but only in small amounts. This gives me a headache. smile

I'm doing fine. Plugging along as usual. I was actually in my bed sick for two days which was miserable. I developed a fever out of nowhere (102 which is screaming high for me since my normal body temp is around 94.6) and throwing up. I do attribute some of it to stress and depression but the fever was weird. Whatever. Still feel a little like jello but recovering.

K - The great thing about the books is it leaves your imagination to roam all on it's own. They are written in a way that is not overt for a young teenager, but leaves enough to imagine for the older reader. smile ENJOY! Don't forget, when you are done with the 4th book go to the author's website and you can read what she had begun writing as the 5th book but stopped because it was leaked. It is the first book again, but from Edward's perspective. Really interesting. I wish she would finish it. frown

I think some type of illness is going around. 2 people were out sick at my workplace today. Yet, from reading your posts & working so much, may be you ran yourself down. My condolences ..... for having to listen to country music. Not a fan either. LOL

Ok...not sure whether this makes me happy or mad.....a little of both I think.

When I went home at lunch I told Marc to clean up his room and to get his bag packed to go to his dad's tomorrow. He said he isn't going to his dad's. Huh? When I asked him why he said, "Because there's nothing to do there anymore." If you'll remember they decided that they couldn't have her son and Marc there on the same weekend anymore because of 'the incident' so I've had Marc the last two weekends to get that in order. So, according to Marc there is nothing to do over there since her son isn't there. I guess spending time with his dad isn't anything to do.

It's not like there is much else to do at home, but it is home. His dad's place isn't even really his dad's...just a place that dad lives. Marc doesn't like it there but he goes usually. He said that Gabe told him he would come over and take him to lunch and fishing on Saturday.

See....I don't know whether to be glad because Gabe is seeing more ramifications from his lousy decisions or mad because that will take away the little time I had to be on my own. I don't know...I know that sounds selfish but that was time I looked forward to having a break.

Frankly, I don't think Gabe is going to care one way or the other. He 'escaped' having to be a father every day. Now he's escaped being one at all. I'm pretty sure he's thrilled. Now he doesn't spend any real time at all with his son, doesn't pay CS, doesn't work, just lays around the house all day being a kept man. MUST BE FREAKIN' NICE!

Can you tell I'm in a snit now? smile

Gabe was all ticked off at me yesterday....why? Because Marc's phone isn't working right. He can text but he can't make or take calls because there is something wrong with the voice volume on it. He has dropped it a crazy number of times so that doesn't surprise me. I let him stew on it. He texted Marc so he had contact with him. I can't afford to get him another one right now and I have no extras.

He came over today and took Marc fishing. Marc outfished the fisherman! HA! He caught the whopper of the day too. A 2 pound catfish. He was so happy! Gabe must have decided he's not mad at me anymore because he sent me a text picture of Marc's catch.

Marc is mad at himself for not going to his dad's...for one reason only.....I told him we are cleaning out all of the clothes in his room tomorrow. He's not a happy camper. grin AWWWW....what a crying shame. smile

Another happy note....my DVD player and VCR in my living room both blew out. The VCR blew about 6 months ago in a power surge during a storm. The DVD player blew out last week. No idea what happened to it. Mom bought me a new DVD/VCR combo. I have a ton of video tapes still and haven't been able to watch any of them. Gotta get the old ones disconnected and the new one hooked up. I'm usually really good about doing that but haven't had to try to move an entertainment center by myself so I'm hoping I don't end up with a hernia!

Yay for mom! smile

Nice to see Gabe blaming other people for technological issues they have no control over. Very mature of him. *rolls eyes*

Loved the fishing story! Sounds like a great self-confidence boost for Marc and some good bonding time for the boys. Both very good things. smile

Got it all hooked up without doing bodily injury. I had some wires reversed at first but figured it out and now we're in business. smile

Didn't get the clothes cleaned out like we had planned. frown We'll have to do it tomorrow during my day off. As usual I'm trying to squeeze way too many things into one day. smile

Just don't let the things you don't get to stress you out. There's always another day.

And frankly, if there's not, if you get hit by a bus, will you really lay there dying going, I should have cleaned out those clothes? No! That's pretty low on the life priority list lol.

smile
