Thanks for the brag SMW..

an update...things continue to go well in my world..last weekend went really well. I ended up making a quick up and back trip to Northern Va. with VST41 on Tuesday night and back on Wednesday..she had some business to take care of..I have Caleigh this weekend..I'm taking her back a few hours early on Sunday as one of her little "school mates" has a birthday party that Caleigh will be attending..Caleigh and I ate last night with VST41 and her oldest D17...Caleigh and I are going up to their neck of the woods to watch a basketball game...and on Sunday we are doing church at my sister's place of worship(me, Caleigh, VST41 and her 3 D's) then going to my mom's for dinner..

all is well in my world..

happy anniversary to me..1 year here...I started reading this board about this time last year...although I never posted until March 25th..

Happy Anniversary then Mike! Sounds like you have your time filled quite nicely. Do you ever have any downtime?

Of course..watched the movie Zack and Miri make a porno..the other night..It was funny..Chilled out and watched Appoloosa the other night..threw out a big blanket..sleeping bags..pillows and a few beers...the movie was ok..

this weekend will be busy for sure..

my life is busy..I like it that way..

my married life sucked and I now realize that..Kim was all about staying at home once Caleigh was born...well I've had enough of that in my life...I'm gonna live a little...while I'm still able...both physically and financially anyway..

That's great. I have to admit, I've never even heard of those movies.

My married life was very quiet because that's the way Gabe wanted it. He's a homebody. I am to a point but I like to go out and have a good time every now and then too - he never did....hates crowds of any kind.

Live it up boy! Have fun and keep me posted on what you're up to so I can imagine what having a life must be like.

yep..it's funny how we became what they wanted us to be..or what we thought they wanted us to be....all in the name of happiness..

and it took this for us to figure out we were not truly happy..

happiness is what you make of it..took me a while but I finally figured that out...

I thought Appaloosa was ok, not as great as I wanted it to be, though. I have been looking for a good western movie and haven't seen one in quite a while. I loved 3:10 to Yuma until that last ten minutes...

Glad you are keeping true to Mikey and enjoying yourself in the process...

I'm going to have to watch 3:10 to Yuma.

In my opinion, the greatest western ever made was Lonesome Dove.

3:10 to Yuma is a great movie. I remember liking Tombstone better than Appaloosa.

One totally different entertaining western I saw recently was Sukiyaki Western Django. It is a Japanese "spaghetti western" shoot em up with Quentin Tarantino playing one of the roles.
