well..some interactions with Kim over the last day or so..

I ended up having to meet Kim last night to exchange Caleigh as Caleigh's daycare was closed due to the sucky weather we are having and Kim getting snowed in under about 14" of snow up in the mountains..so during the exchange Kim says she needs to ask me something..

She says she has planned a Birthday party for Caleigh on March 7th..she wants to invite my family but does not want to upset me..I tell her that it will not upset me but she needs to know they won't come...

Now..I know I should not have said that, I should have just let it go and let her invite them and let them reject the invite...

so the convo turns a bit...she asks If it will always be that way..meaning separate celebrations..and I tell her that i can see it being that way..due to the newness of all this..and the fact that nobody in my family really wants to deal with her mom....and that led to talking about her mom...and I let Kim know once again how I felt about her mom in no uncertain terms and that I felt her mom and kIm's inability to "handle " her mother was a contributing factor to the downfall of our M..I also let Kim now that I would no longer deal with her mom...I actually used the term "bitch" when talking about her mom and Kim agreed with me by saying that yes..her mom was a "bitch"..so for what it's worth..Kim and I do agree on a few things at times.. ....the convo ended rather abruptly by Kim getting ready to say something but sort of trailing off and saying she was leaving.....this convo was not confrontational in any way...it was matter of fact and to the point..

So I get a note from Kim talking about an upcoming businiess trip she has on the 24-25th to Nashville..(she's coming your way Steve ) she needs to leave on the 23rd, problem is I'm getting back from my golf trip on the 23rd..so we need to exchange Caleigh somewhere or need to make some arrangmnets for her the 23rd..we are working on that...I also ask Kim if we could flop weeks starting in March and she agreed to that..I also hit Kim up about Easter..Caleigh is with hwer on Easter and I've ask Kim if I can have Caleigh..I want to take her to the White House Easter Egg Roll..so we will see..

yes..I've met her and her dad..and there are some issues with VST41, VST41's brother and the parents..both parents were nice to me when I met them..it was a short visit and I hope to see them again..they live up around the DC area..so there is some distance involved..

the family issues have nothing to do with me at the moment...I can see where I could be possibly effected in the future..we will see..

I've thought along the same lines as you Kerry..It's funny, after what we have been through we tend to break down and examine every little detail..and IMO..we should..LOL

I miss neither of my ex MIl's...

My X-MIL (thai/chinese) and my brothers MIL (russian) speak no english.

GF40 thinks that if I learn vietnamese that her mom and dad will be impressed. I kid her and say that I only want to learn the "dirty" words.

BTW... If you get to talk to the president at the egg roll, can you convince him about doing a "divorce bailout".

Did someone say X-MIL???? Now just the fact that I have not seen or heard from her in a while puts a smile on my face!!!! That is one good thing that came out of this mess.....

My DA H has the best MIL of all...my mother and I haven't spoken in 5 years and she hasn't lived in the same time zone as we have since I was 17. Needless to say they don't have a lot of contact. LOL!!!

we were talking about "red headed sluts" on Kerry's thread earlier... when I happened to mention I would like a drink..called a "red headed slut" and then said "heavy on the slut" please..Kerry decided that I meant I wanted an overweight red headed slut..so there you go...it's started..now pile on..I can't do it all by myself..
