Well, the not feeling so good hit again last night. Darn it!! I was not a happy girl but I went to bed early. I was tossing and turning a lot but just kept telling myself I would feel better. When does this stuff just go away?? \:\(

I assume you mean dealing with your D, not your illness.

It will never go away, unfortunately, especially since you share kids. I still have issues dealing with XW, even 5 years later. But the difference is how it affects you and how you deal with it. And if you take a look at your progress over the last year, I think you are doing great. XH affects you still, but I don't think you let him dictate your actions like he used to. You are moving in the right direction.

i did mean my cold/flu whatever it is actually! but yes, I did need to look at where I am at in regards to the D and the soon to come B. It will relieve a lot of pressure soon. Does not mean that I like it though.

I am getting my financial plan in place. Getting my savings to a healthy amount is foremost. Then replacing my 16 year old car which hopefully will make it to 18!

PS: G it is so nice to know that you still lurk around sometimes.

oh, your flu... then never mind.

I check on the old gang almost every day. When I was in crisis mode, I was frustrated with the lack of successfully saved M's. Even if I have nothing productive to say, I want people to know that there are happy outcomes out there.

I am glad that you are doing so well. I stay here because one: I don't feel like my thread is a constant party. lol and two:I am not ready to go. I am a work in progress. The issues of the divorce don't end just because some paper was filed some where. Like G said, they are on going. My ex doesn't bother me nearly as much as he used to. What's the point of fighting? I just wonder if he will be able to hold his tongue when(if) I ever start to date.

Ex came by to get the kids on Friday(when I went home, sick) and we all noticed he had a bunch of stubble. D10 asked him about it and he said he would shave later, just wanted to be a bum for the weekend. When he came to take the boys to school, the stubble of course is more prominent. I didn't say anything but I asked him on more than one occasion if he would grow a beard and he always said no, I don't like the way it looks on me.

What will be next, hairclub for men???

kat
ps I guess he doesn't have much else to "throw away" for the affair, so all he can do is make changes to himself to make "them" happy.

Too bad it isn't really club, huh?

Take care of yourself. When I was sick, it took almost two weeks before I actually started feeling human again. Rest, rest, rest...and more rest.
