Apparently I have a mouse in the house, because my rat terrier, Benji, is on his trail and leaving no stone (or book, magazine, basket, DVD) unturned to find him. Most of the time when I'm at home I'm looking at Benji's little stub tail and hind end, as the rest of him is buried in the bookshelves doing his job. It's his purpose for living. Most of the time he's a little prince; he sleeps under the covers with me, refuses to stay outside longer than 30 seconds in the cold, has a favorite spot right in front of the fire. But any sign of a mouse and he's Superpuppy.

HA!
That's a cute story.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving, hoosier.

And oh yeah ~ sell the drums!

Hey, if you ever need a special searchlight in the sky to call for him, I've got one you can borrow . . . ;\)

Guys, believe me if I knew where I could go to sell them I would. I just know that's what he paid for them. I have no connections in the music world around here; if I pawned them I'd get just minimal bucks and still have to haul them around. I think NNP had the best idea!

Took the words right out of my mouth, Amy.

A $600 - $700 price should attract a local buyer nicely, and would buy four weeks of groceries and a few small Christmas gifts for your daughter.

Oh, I usually know where I can find him--in his throne by the fireplace!

This does give new meaning to "puppy dog tails" tho!! I'll think of you, pup, whenever I'm watching his little stubbie waggin'!

It's definitely an attractive thought. The repercussions would be awful, but hey, what's he gonna do--divorce me??!!
