You know, I really dislike posting my h's ups and downs but if if can help anybody else with what their spouse is going thru, that is why I post it.
I am doing fine, day to day, relying on faith.

I think we all hate posting the ups and downs. Its like we're talking badly about them without them knowing. But I do think it's helpful for others going thru similar things, AND it helps to get the frustrations off our chests as well.
Well posting the ups and downs helps us know that we are not alone. Your h always baffels me. He seems like he so wants to come home, but just can't break away.
Sorry he is struggling so. Do you think it's easier for him to drown himself in a beer rather than have to face all that he has done?

he said he rarely drinks that much anymore but something must trigger it. and the truth of the matter is, he has a quiet place to just sit all day, nobody calling him or bothering him. at night, he stays up really, really late, been talking or texting me.
he feels he has screwed up his life beyond repair. he told me lastnight that you don't know what you lost until it is gone and my response was, "who said it was gone?"
i think dealing with the day to day responsibilities scares him. he really has not been around for 4 years and it has been me who has pretty much raised the kids from the time they became teens. sometimes he cannot deal with teenage behavior, esp. the girls.

I have today off-yea!! Even though I got my "walking" shoes the other day, I still have sore feet so I am grateful for having today off which means I will probably be working the weekend as well as tomorrow.
I am fine. H is planning on coming over today. I have been cleaning and scrubbing and I have to run out and do some errands in a bit.
