Well, if someone told me that H should not be included in the holidays, then I feel sorry for that person. And if that person were having marital problems or in a similar situation, then I would have to say that person does not really want their marriage restored.

H has always been here for the holidays since all of this began but this year, he is playing a larger role in them by doing things such as helping D16 with the tree, doing little odds and ends things for me since I seem to be working six days a week, etc. To me, these are little blessings.

They are blessings.....I sometimes wonder what would of been the outcome if my husband would of stayed close by..... but I am sure nothing would of changed the outcome... except by the grace of God.... but I know he has a plan for me..... growing in Christ....salvation of my husband...my family members....who knows.... but I do have the Lord very close by everyday....

Well better get back to work before they dock me..LOL

HAVE A GOOD ONE!!!!!!!!

Hi, TL!

I haven't had much time at all to sift thru all of the stuff here so I am way behind!

Wish I could get some rest but I am working today and tomorrow as well. Looks like Sunday is my only day off.

Hope you have a nice weekend, too.

Wow not include your h for the holidays then we must not be loving unconditionally. Now the last 2 years my h has chose to not be with us. I did call him on Christmas Day and Eve and wished him well and said he was welcome to join us. I also let him know I was thinking about him and loved him.

I wouldn't want to be alone on Christmas nor to have anyone not reach out to me. I just try to love regardless of how the other responds.

Have a great day MWG!

I have always included my h for all holidays and he has always been here for every single one of them, New Years, Easter, Memorial Day and so on.

No, it is not unconditional love if one says they should not be invited to participate. God would never turn sinners away, that's for sure!

MWG,

Did you get shoes yet?

Thinking of you......

((((hugs)))

One more thing.....are there are any good Greek soups that you make? I need more recipes. At work I have to make 2 different soups each day now that it is getting so cold and I am running out of ideas.

I am praying to go through this test and come out the other end with a new and better marriage then before.

glam, MWG,

What do you suggest in my case where my H spends the holidays with his kids? Wouldn't it be strange for me to invite him and the kids to my place since he's already spending the holidays with his family? In my case, he's the one excluding me, isn't he?

PH:

Gosh, that is a tough one. I am not sure but what comes to mind is that if the boys will be in town, invite them over for a special holiday dinner.

It is sad that your H does not invite you to spend it with them. Also, pray about this.

I have to get to bed soon but H was here tonight for about five hours. Like always, we spent it sitting on the patio as it is gorgeous this time of year.

He'll be back tomorrow and Sunday as well.
