Hope you get that house done soon. You sounded really tired and low in yesterdays post. Find some time this weekend to do nothing and take care of you it will help.

The countertops are Corian-Butter Rum. it's a popular color right now. The counter tops should bring the floor out pretty good. I'll have pictures up over there when it's all done. You're really going to be surprised when you see the kitchen. I'm real close, within a week anyway.
I could even have it done this weekend.
Tim--I'm not down really. I just don't have any time for "just Me" and it's frustrating. Problem is when this house is done I don't know what I'll do with all my time. Like I said I have options. I may join a local Divorce support group, if for no other reason than to maybe make new friends. The visitation I love but this transitional stuff is a logistical nightmare. It also validates me and my decision to not seek 50/50 time with D2. I don't think I could have done 50/50 at all. I'm running my ass of and the drive time/length is a clock eater.
It will all get better. Thursdays and Fridays are the days I'm most tired..weekends coming up..

Update, well my L called today and left a message on my cell. The last and final mediation is set for Oct. 8th @ 9:00am. I am ready for it. I can tell my STBX is ready too. When I dropped my D2 off after visitation tonight STBX seemed happy, she was nice, she was smiling. She gave me extra clothes for D2, said I could have them for my house. Was very cordial. I know the reason for the "niceness" is because her and her L smell "blood in the water" I'm sure a big play will be made for my 401K and pension..I would make a play for hers but hers is worth about 2% of what mine is worth. So there you have it. My hope is she wants the house which she can have and allows me to keep what is rightfully mine so I'll have some sort of future later on.
My back is against the wall, Bethie has not sent my cup/earmuffs so my nuts are exposed. It sucks any way you spin it.
I find myself frustrated tonight. I have no "Mike" time. I want to go eat Mexican and drink beer, I want to go listen to a band. I want to sit in a chair and just do nothing. I can't find time to do that at the moment. I'm running my ass off trying to get time with my D and fix this house and right now all that sucks donkey peckers..Man I'm tired..

So final date is 10/8? Until then I would imagine that you'll still feel a little unsettled (still the fear of the unknown and all), but why is there such a big question with the house versus the pension. If your willing to give her the house AND her pension, does that not equal out? Has she ever indicated that she wanted the house? Well if she does go after the pension she will probably be told that she will have to minus your half of the house from the pension, so it would be 50% minus your share in the house. That's if she decides to keep it of course.
So my best advice is to go in there knowing what you want and don't back down unless you feel it's fair and equitable. I wouldn't worry though. The mediator sees this stuff all of the time and most do a very fair job. The reason that you haven't gotten the earmuffs I promised is because the original set never would have fit. In the last couple of weeks you have shown that the jewels have grown so you probably won't need them anyway.
Although, always better to be safe rather than sorry (cause we never really can tell what these crazy ex's of ours will do when they don't get their way) so I'm sending you mellon sized cup holders. I know, I promised that they would work double duty as earmuffs, so I suggest that after this is over, you keep 1 as a hat and give the other one away to a friend (they don't have to know where they've been!)
