(((((Julia))))))

Two things:

1)Where in the heck do I get the job you have? Enough time for swimming at lunch, work at home sometimes, taking afternoons off here and there. Darn! I really want one of those!

2)You are going to be just fab tomorrow! Your H only has as much power over you as you give him. Being nervous is ok, but letting that nervousness affect your responses to him is not. Be you.....the fabulous you we all have come to know and love. Your H will respond to that positive energy coming from you even if he doesn't realize it at the time.

Did you get the key lime pie baked?

Thanks TD

Mishka, I do have quite a cushy job! Hee hee...

I run a small charity and the entire staff consists of me \:\) Alhough I have to report to the Trustees 4 times a year.

I love it because it is so varied- marketing, fundraising, admin, accounts (bleugh!) etc etc but it does get a bit lonely. Luckily where my office is there are two ladies who work there who I really get on with. My half day today is annual leave and I do have a lap top so I work from home one ot two days a month which is great. Also my gym/ pool is only 5 mins down the road and no one knows if I am 10 mins late from lunch, I just make it up at the end of the day, so it is really flexible. I am really lucky!

Now I am at home cleaning up and baking I feel so much better, my nerves are much more under control.

Outfit for tomorrow - I've just bought a new top it is bottle green (green always makes my eyes look extra green!) with a yellowy/gold ribbon that ties just under the bust. I remember about this time last year my h said that he thought that style of top really suited me and it screamed out at me when I walked past it. I'm going to team it with some tight 3/4 length dark jeans. I was going to go for this dress before I saw the top but I was thinking it looked a bit mumsy, it is pretty on though and it shows off my assets and hides my stomach! Maybe it is more an summer evening dress if we ever get to that stage. Shame I don't have a link to the top.

Love baby doll tops. I'm wearing one right now as a matter of fact. Love it as it shows of "the girls" and hides the tummy!

That is a really sweet dress. Is it something you would typically wear or a 180 for you?

Thanks Lola

Mishka, the dress is a massive 180 I'm a jeans and black top kinda girl - my legs haven't seen the light of day since 1989! ;\)

Actually the top is supposed to be a dress but I think it would be a bit obscene if I wore it as one, hence the denims \:\) The 'girls' do look fairly good in it - that is a great expression!

That's great! 180's in clothing are so much easier to handle since they don't take any major lifestyle change to accomplish and can be easily undone if they don't work for you.

I myself bought a skirt! I haven't bought a skirt or dress in over 8 years! I wear slacks (usually black) to work with different tops every day. For so long I wore dull, boring colors. Now I find I go looking for bright, fun, and flirty tops at least with cuts that show off the only asset I have! The skirt was a MAJOR 180 for me. My boss almost fell down!

I remember that day I had to take Mad Max over to H's house and I just wore the lime green tank, no bra. H's eyes popped out of his sockets!!!

It is always a fab thing to accentuate the positives..... ;\)

Y'all are baaaaad. Thankfully, guys can do a 180 also. W likes the new me. I used to dress so boring. I wore my hair in a military cut parted on the side, over-sized ugly t-shirts and jeans or workout shorts. Now I'm channeling my inner hipster. FB me and you can see the new me. I'll see if I can find some scary old pictures LOLZ.

Thanks guys

Dan I think I have but you have ignored me so far ;\)

I never wore colour before either, it does feel good to wear some colour and accentuate my femininity.
