Getting ready to leave for a weeks holiday in France. I've been washing and packing !

D7 and S4 leave with H tomorrow night...wow 10 days, I'll miss them !

D9 and I are going away together..; it should be fun !

Been doing ok today. My parents and sister came over. It was nice and sunny and the kids swam and had a great time outdoors.

So, still stuck but very happy today.

D7 was all cuddly today, she told me her tummy felt weird and that she was going to miss me. She's such a sweety !

Nearly forgot to mention....

D7 had her toenails and fingernails painted by my mom today. After swimming this afternoon it started scaling off. She was upset...I told her I would fix it. So she choose a different shade of red and I re-did everything. It was SOOOOOOOOOO CUTE ...she kept saying 'oh mommy, you can do this so much better than grandma' It made me feel super duper ! hahaha !

I had sent H a TM asking him if there weren't any dinner plans yet made for tomorrow night, if he'd want to go out to dinner with me and the kids.

He just replied. Told me that ow has made spaghetti and that he would be here at 6pm to pick up the kids and still had to pack.

I answered; no problem, I'll go out to dinner with D9, that way we'll start off our holiday allready ! Have fun packing !

H wrote back 'ok see you tomorrow.'

Too bad he's not coming, but I'm sure D9 and I will have a great time, we're off to have spare ribs !!! Yummy !

Hi Cinders, why the split of children for the holidays if it is ok to ask ? It will be nice for you to have time together. I had 3 children and having time for each one on their own was nigh on impossible.

Well, you see, I'm not ready to go off on a holiday with all 3. Or so I thought, because to be honest, I think I would have been and I would have loved it. So when I booked, I knew I would be staying at friend's and I didn't want to go alone, so since my friends all have kids in the age range of D9, she got to go.
Next year I want to go with all three of them, but it's better than having to miss them ALL for 10 days !
