Hmmmm...last thread locked. Bummer.

I usually start new threads with a song but cannot seem to be bothered to find an 'uplifting' one...so I will forego that this time...

Cannot seem to shake this sad feeling...again, it must be the moon phase...

So, I have looked back at the road I have traveled so far, and DO feel like I have come a long way...for those new people, don't fret, one day this won't be so new and your heart and head will get a grasp and you will be able to cope better. It is okay to feel down some days and to make mistakes---just remember to always try to move forward...even on days when you don't think you can.

That got me through at first...I was so obsessed with what was going on in my life...I am sure there are people who will never speak to me again because of how I acted during that time...

Trust me, you will be okay.

I cannot believe the things I do now and look forward to being my own person in the future...it's been wonderful but the only regret that I have is that I have had to go through this experience to find myself again.

Alright....I feel unloved now... \:\(

I guess the rest of the board is busy.

Okay, so got my hair cut and bought some fabulous brown trousers to go with a sweater I got for my b-day...and new shoes!!! Slingbacks!

Geesh, almost wish I had a date!

Sounds awesome val!

I do understand the sadness. Hits us all from time to time. Moving forward.

Hey MMF!

I am having a fab evening, watching the primary results...I am such a nerd!!! LOL!

Yep the sadness comes but then it goes and I have started to realize that when I am NOT sad, I have a really good time...just hanging out...with my bubbies...life doesn't really get any better than that.

I am so thankful now for the things I have...I just have to learn to be okay with the things I don't have.

Sigh.

Vali

Where else but in Texas do half of the voters get to vote twice?
\:\) Go figure it!
Live .... from Texas .... it's Tuesday Night Live !!!!!

I hope your sadness passes quicker each time, and you find greater happiness for longer stretches. It will help you rest and find strength you need to truly see all your blessings. I pray there are many more every day.

Besides, if you could have the things you think you are missing and want right now, you would probably find that there is "some ... no, a lot of assembly required" and that "batteries aren't included". When was the last time you saw anything advertised with a guarantee that it would not have a MLC?

I am pretty sure some things you think you want can not be returned within thirty days for a full refund, or you get your life back \:\) Maybe not having some of these things right now is an overlooked blessing in itself.

W2S, whaddya mean we get to vote twice?!?!?!?!?

You dont get to do that where you live???? LOL!

YOu are right about the sadness, it does pass more quickly now...GAL is a good thing because you move on, forward, whatever. It was hard at first b/c like so many here, you get obsessed with what is going on in your life. THen as time passes, it doesn't take up that much of your time...you actually wonder: what am I gonna wear to work tomorrow? or what should I do this weekend...

Marvelous to finally get there!

I agree, while we are standing, we grow...we look within ourselves to find what we can change within ourselves...to make ourselves better people. We see how our M's were not perfect, how we were not perfect...but we can strive for perfection, always.

Hugs,
V

Hello peeps! Hope everyone is doing well!

My extended family is ticking me off right about now...calling MLM for legal advice and to get freebies or whatever...how annoying.

This was one point of contention b/w us...MLM would always say he helped my family because of me...I only asked him to help ONE family member ONCE.

So I am madder than a wet hen when I find out that my family is STILL asking him to do stuff for them...don't even call ME to ask if it is okay....they all know we are separated and could possible divorce...not to mention they live in another CITY. Geez! WTH?

Gotta tell you that people freaking amaze me sometimes.

I understand your frustration Vali BUT as long as MLM isn't frustrated by it I see no problem. I think the longer he keeps links with your family the better the chance you have of a reconciliation.
