I haven't posted in quite a while. W still can't decide where we should live, but we've arranged temporary housing, and have a POD being delivered tomorrow to load up our stuff. We're due to head East at the end of this month!

Well, we got a loft in Worcester, MA in an old mill conversion. We're going to rent it until our house here in CO gets rented out. We're good to go for Oct. 1.

I'm so happy for you but then again i'm so very sad for me,,you've become a very dear friend to me and have been there when I needed you the most. What the hell am I gonna do now?? I know, I know I have to GAL as i've become too close to you dude (you living 10min. away is too convenient,,sheesh)!

I hope everything works out for you and W,,she doesn't know just how lucky she is to have you and I really hope she makes the effort to show you!

You are such a good listener, DBer, friend, house renovator, etc.; an all out wonderful person and you deserve the best! Be proud of what you accomplished w/the house, your life and your M,,YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION!!

I will miss our 3hr convo's, 'home showings' & our GALing together,,altho I anticipate our phone & food bills to go down so thats' a + to you moving, right?

NP. Thanks for all the kindness. It's hard because this is all so happy and sad all mixed together. I haven't moved far away from friends since '93 when I left Anchorage. But it's much easier to stay in touch nowadays, thanks to the web, cell, etc!

I still want to try to get you that CD and take a look at your poor old computer. :-]

OK everyone - I expect you guys to take good care of my buddy Kimmie when I go (not that we won't still be in touch). Especially you local folks! You guys need to get together more often for group GALing, and maybe go "up the hill" or something (that's up to the Blackhawk casinos in the mountains, for those of you not from around here!) :-)

BTW, thanks so much for making time for me,,whether it was just listening to me cry, rant, meeting for drinks or lunch, fixing my computer, surviving my car rides , showing me your new found occupation(Flip this house)he he, sharing cat stories, growing up in CO stories, listening to 4hrs of my MP3 player crap til 3:45am, trusting me w/your secrets so to speak and just plain being honest,,,you have done more to boost my self-esteem than my H ever did,,,I think this is how I learned to GAL and has given me hope that life will not end here and that there is someone else out there for me!

To be quite honest, when I hugged you good-bye ,,,I didn't want to let you go,,,i'm glad you were a gentleman and that I did not act on my feelings ,,,b/c you have worked soooo hard & are such a good person that you deserve the best rewards of what is yet to come w/your 'new' R w/your W!

BTW,,thanks for the CD, its' actually quite good, trying to follow all the words too. Well,,,,w/RMG getting M'd , you moving , Jules living too far away(6hrs) and ford working undercover I will have to get my GALing boots on and hoof it alone for awhile.

I must say, you seem to be handling things much better, not that you haven't always been strong, what with basically going it along and putting together an awesome home and taking the best care of your kids, and running your own business, and.... well, you get the idea.

I especially admire the way you are standing up the the H (or is that AH? Ha! Figure that one out. ) and not letting him dictate everything and control the sitch.

Jules - Kim needs some good ol' girl talk and support, too, so you keep in touch with her, 'k?
