Here's another one of my faves:

So what'd the counselor say...our M is hopeless right?

WHAT? How could she say that with my issues????

Ha! One night back in January, DH and I were out with friends. There was major drama going on and I learned this one girl was just not ready to get married (there were tears and a lot of drama involved... no, we didn't know these people). Anyway, I made a smart@$$ comment about "don't ever get married" and DH got pissed off. (He didn't tell me for months later.) But hello? THIS heart ache I'm feeling? THAT'S why I said don't get married. Hello? He has even said if he had to do it all over again, he wouldn't. Well? WTH is the difference??!!

That's a good one. I've heard that one too. First it was - we can get D'd and then date -- maybe things will work out better if we're not financially tied to one another.

Then it was I'll never marry again, but I won't be alone forever. I need someone to help me with the quality of life I want....

Nice.

For the guys:

NEVER buy your wife a personal endermology (cellulite removal) machine, EVEN IF she used to pay a professional to do the same damn thing and she liked going.

And never tell her she's soooo close to perfect, if she could just get rid of that last little bit of cellulite - EVEN IF she has talked about it openly like that before - YOU CANNOT SAY THAT!!!!!

(where's the head-banging icon when you need it )

We can talk ourselves into defeat or we can talk ourselves into victory - we are creatures of our thinking.

WAW in bold

"I need to do what's best for me"

What about the right thing and honoring your commitment?

"You played with the neighborhood kids and abandoned me"

I thought women like well rounded men? How can you resist a 4 year old that comes to the door and want to play baseball?

"You didn't love me enough"

What does love you enough look like? "I don't know!" Well how do you know what you are missing? "I don't know"

"it's all your fault, you never gave me enough attention, like other guys are. you don't tell me that I'm beautiful"

It's funny wow the WAW forget all the edifying comments that I gave her and how I use to do and say all the little things too.

"I was fat before and now I look good, so I need to see if there's something better out there!"

This was after a boob job and a tummy tuck that WAW had in November 2004.

Talking about a cold woman!

I just realized that you changed your name...sorry. It might not
be the correct thread to answer you on...but, you asked me to
check you out.

If he is in an EA, his interest in pushing for the D is probably
due to the fact it went to a PA, or will shortly...he feels that
he might have a future with her...thus, he needs closure on the
past...you. If you have followed the DB principles, some I know
you have and he still wants out...well, you need to accept it.
He is ready to move on...you, however, are angry and cynical...
not a good receptive place to be...yes, he blames you, how could
his wife be that way...men don't accept women cheating...it cuts
their manhood, but men can cheat...he'll never forgive you...but
what bothers me more is his flippant response to not havng the
daycare money...your child didn't ask to be born, he is responsible for her well beng...garnish his wages. This is who
your husband is now...not the one you married...let him go.

Life is too short to be with the wrong person...Ed Young Ministry
who knows if the H was the right choice to begin with...yes God
doesn't like divorce, but He surely doesn't want us to be with
someone who doesn't love you in the manner that God wants...that
is why he gave us the intelligence to problem solve, to help
ourselves. Why cling to someone who wants out after you have
tried to make changes. Some people want a clean slate, to start
anew without having to work, or just fell out of love. Just
because you got married, had a child does not mean he was right
for you...take this as God giving you an out to find someone who
will truly love you, faults and all...
