Part 3.

http://www.divorcebusting.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2642132&page=1

Wife sent an email Monday saying she'd already met with an attorney and paid fees to start process. On the surface, she wants me to walk away with essentially 75% of everything. Wow. I'm stalling, and told her I was speaking to an attorney and still looking at apartments so I could make my mind up about the house. She is hell bent on making this happen.

I guess I will not try to slow the process down any longer, and give her what she wants. That way she can get the EA/OM out in the open.

Nice weekend of NC. Dinner and drinks out with friends Thursday - Sunday. Has been nice.

I was stalling, but going to send e-mail this evening that says go forward with the D if that's what she so chooses.

I understand, J. I'm at the same point. We're attempting to come up with a settlement now.

In my case, I had to let him go. Trying to help him was making the problem worse. I hate it, I really hate it - but I have no desire to continue being the "problem" in his life he can't wait to get rid of.

The sooner I'm out of the way, the sooner he can realize it was never me making him so unhappy. Or, maybe I was. Who knows? I can't control one single thing except how I'm choosing to react. Some days are better than others. LOL

You'll be okay.

Hey Judy,
Oddly enough, I feel better and better every day. If I repeat "I will be okay no matter what" over and over, I start to believe it!

Thanks for checking in! Back to GAL!!! You've got this too! Keep on keeping on.
