Autumn. LoL.

If you went back and read my threads, you'd see I am/was the queen of turning a serious marital effort into a damn sex talk.

Since this is your thread... I'll let you get us back in track!

Hehe. Yea. I always remember when you were shocked with what men find sexy. Flannel sheets and all smile

Too funny!!

Graduation party was fantastic. First guest arrived at noon and last guest left at midnight. It was a long day of guests coming and going, which is what I expected. D18 really had a great time. We all did! My friends and family were wonderful. Since it was my first party alone, my youngest brother took it upon himself to come early to help me set up tents and ice the coolers, etc. He was so helpful and I was so grateful!

Son's health is ok now thankfully. It was a very scary situation to say the least. The day before the grad party, S18 woke up at 5am screaming for me. It was so out of character, and I rushed in there. He had horrible pain in his head, neck and back. I treated at home for an hour and it continued to get worse, so I took him to the ER.

They hooked him up to an IV for fluids, pain meds and anti nausea meds. They also put him on oxygen and ordered a head CT

When the results of the CT came back, the doctor said they were concerned with a spot on his brain and described the location. They were admitting him and calling in a neurologist for further testing.

At this point I called STBX to let him know, and he was on his way.

We were very fortunate that although they didn't expect to have a neurologist available til the next day, one arrived a few hours later and they did an MRI

The MRI was clear which indicated a false positive on the CT. They diagnosed him with migraines and sent us on our way. He crashed for the entire day but was up and ready to go for his party the next day.

What a relief to hear migraines!!

Yes, I agree. My older son has migraines and they knock him out of commission.

Sounds like a great, although exhausting, party.

AL,

Glad to hear S is OK. Head and neck pain is very scary when it's out of the blue. I think of meningitis.

Nice to hear family members are helping out too.

Enjoy the heat wave......not

Definitely was exhausting labug smile

Thanks gr8, meningitis crossed my mind initially too. Can't be too careful. This heat wave has got to break soon! Not fun, but not complaining because the people near Atlantic City have been without power for a week. At least I have a/c

Feels very much like a Monday today, holidays in the middle of the week always throw me off

Autumn.

That is some story, about son... Glad to hear all is well, and he has been celebrated!!!

You'll be packing him up, and sending him off soon! Wah!!!

How was your 4th?!? It was 102 here. We went to a parade, and I nearly melted. So, we chose alternate activities for later... I couldn't take anymore heat.

We saw " Ted". Funniest damn movie ever. I kept getting elbowed for my laughing. I'm near tears, just remembering while typing!

Get to work!!! I have to, as well! Ick!
