The judge threw out his initial mediation request.
Ex however then filed a petition to lower child support so the scheduled date is in the middle of November. I am already planning my strategy. Ex hired an attorney. I will do it on my own.

Yesterday was my 5 year-olds school conference. Ex showed up unannounced and unexpected. He was very polite, but nervous around me. He did not mention the court hearing in November.

Do you know Trusting, it is awesome reading your posts and following your saga, I still cannot believe some of the antics and actions of these drained other halfs, it rings a bell as to say that they appear all nervous round you but they know that there is something important happening in a few weeks time, it is like it is the calm before the storm, he wouldnt of mentioned it because he would be afraid of you scorning him, what is good is that he turned up to you childs school conference, have to say my ex only attended one in all the five years we have been split, what I will never understand is how these guys turn on their children, keep your chin up Trusting, you and I have been at this a very long time and had one hell of a journey each, I myself have jumped off the crazy train now, and to hell with my ex, but even though I say that I dont think the heart will ever truly let go. onward and upward though, I wish us both a happy ending to what has got to be the worst period ever in someones life. xxxcx

Everything happens for a reason, maybe Dad needs to find that it isn't better out there, he needs to realize how good he had it here. Maybe he will find God and that is the most important thing when he finds Him he will know he is supposed to come home.

Well I woke up to wonderful news. The judge cancelled my hearing because of something that came up. She rescheduled it to January 06, 2011...... Ex has got to be livid, oh well. My ex again for those of you who don't know is trying again to get the child support reduced. He has failed at every attempt thus far.
Mediation however is still scheduled for November 29, 2010.
