I wanted to post about the tattoos that ya'll were talking about. I ahve three tattoos. Two I got when I was 19. The third one I got after my D9 was born. My first tattoo was a heart with ivy around it and my name. The second was a small star that myself and two friends got, all in the same spot. My third one was my favorite Disney character--Eeyore.
I have waffled back and forth over getting another one over the past few months. DH does not care for tattoos, for the most part he thinks they are tacky. He especially dislikes "tramp stamps". I was seriously considering getting a temporary tattoo of a tramp stamp that I like, just to wear for homecoming. Almost like a shocker, as I had told him some years ago that I would not get any more tattoos since he did not like them. Of course, then I would have to create a situation where he would see it, too.
Maybe I need to think on it more.

Give our girl a hug when you get there this weekend. I miss ya'll. We need to plan something for summer maybe.

SMW - the temp tramp stamp would be HILARIOUS, but don't do something just to make H mad, cause then it won't mean anything, and 3 days later, you'll regret it.
It's weird to me that alot of women like tattoos, and alot of guys don't - I also think they are pretty tacky. In my case, my W has absolutely perfect skin - I mean like Dove-model skin - so I think it would suck, but you know...
So, {{{Tawnya}}} - I think you should get a dragon over your whole back, and have the head curl around your side and stomach, and the tail curl up and around your neck.
Watching Regis & Kelly now and actress Carla Gugino has a butterfly tattoo on her ankle! I think that's a good spot for one. Never understood getting one on a part of your body you can't see for yourself.
I got a temp tramp stamp on vacation in Mexico many years ago. xBF liked it if I recall correctly, but I will admit that I make assumptions about women who have them. And I do know men who find tattoos a big turn off. I've received comments like JD's about his W, why would you do that to beautiful skin... To each his own.
JD is right, don't do it just to make your H mad but do it if you think it would be something fun to try for yourself!

My W has 7 tattoos. She had 2 when I met her. She got one after the boys were born. Then she was trying to lose weight and to encourage her, I promised to pay for a tattoo if she got down below a certain weight, and she did, so that's #4. And then she's gotten 3 more on her own in the past 1.5 years.
I think tattoos get tacky once you start covering whole body parts, or there are two many unrelated tattoos next to one another. I also think that they can be pieces of art if done properly. My W and I used to watch LA Ink all the time, now I watch it by myself and a lot of the ones they do are absolutely cool and beautiful! I also think tattoos in certain places (like lower back) can be pretty sexy on women. My W has one in that spot.

About the skiing trip. Unfortunately, I can't do a daytrip to go skiing, or I would have done it a long time ago already. But you guys are right, I do need to get into that! Point taken! The things I do by myself now are limited to going to get togethers at friends and at clubs that I am a member of.

So I had a good, pretty boring day actually. Worked all day from 7 to 7, then one of my really good friends is a pastor at a church I use to go to and he normally doesn't get to minister in the main sanctuary. However, he emailed me today and specifically asked me to come cause he was going to get to preach and, how could I say no to that, even tho I hardly got any sleep *about 4 hours worth* (which is not my usual 8 or 9 that I really like LOL ), so I went and then went to Starbucks to see my daughter afterwards.
It was nice, got to see a few friends at that church that I hadn't seen in a while..got to talk to my friend that ministered for a few minutes too..so that was good and everyone said I looked good..which is always nice
And..I don't have to work all day tomorrow, only for a little while..also nice, and I'm gonna sleep in

YOU are not responsible for my not getting much sleep. I had a run in of sorts with OW's creepy hub last night which totally weirded me out..so it was GREAT to get to be distracted from that by talking to you
I am leaving on my trip Fri morning early..I will be around SOME, but not too much. I missed you last weekend while you were gone, so glad you have plans too..you ALWAYS are doing something!! I dunno what the boys will do without us, probably grunt and play poker in DA Club or something Or..possibly cry cause we are not here (ha..yeah)

Please remember to take all your metal off before going through screening. It's one of my biggest pet peeves when people say things like, "Oh, you mean I have to take the change out of my pocket?" or "What, you think this studded belt is going to set the detector off?" Grrr. Ok, maybe I've been flying a bit much lately.
