I have heard from so many people that once the LBS quits trying, then that is when the WAW will turn around and try to make amends. My question I guess is how many of you have heard this and what are the circumstances? Maybe we don't hear about these as much because the LBS has really moved on and won't entertain reconcillation at that point.

From what I have read, Men are more likely to try then women.

Thoughts?

Isn't that the basic premise behind going dark? Once the LBS stops calling and making contact the WAS will then reach out?

Well I guess I am talking about after the LBS has actually quit and basically given up. I have heard from so many people that once she gets out and sees that the 'grass ain't greener' and thinks that I have moved on she will really start to regret her decision and want her life back. I have read that this takes from six months to two years.

Well, that would also depend on OP, too..If they have another R going on, like in my sitch, who think OM is the greatest ever, then you have to let it run its course.

Since with my sitch, she is blindly in "love", so the grass is greener right now...

God Bless

Chevelle,

How long has it been. I know that mine is seeing a married man. Funny thing is he has only been married for 5 months. I don't know what kind of future she sees, but that is hers. She pushed the amicable D through really fast. I am pretty sure it was one of those "If you get yours, I'll get mine" I am pretty sure that this will crash down around her within time but I am not waiting around, just curious if other people have heard of other WAW coming back after their trip over the fence and realizing its not all that. Most of the stories that I have heard indicate that it takes from about 6 months to 2 years.

The sitch by "success" kind of illustrates this.

It has happened to me. I never elaborate here but for sure, he got real interested in my life again once he knew I was with someone else.

Though it should be said that if we have "moved on" hoping that they will notice we have moved on and get interested again, it's not really moving on, is it?

And for whatever reason, the MLC'er or WAS seems to have a highly accurate bs detector.

Bill i have read your post throughout..and as my s19 would say "toshay" Good point. I sure would like to want to move on....and even coming over to the "now divorced" area is a step...we aren't yet but we are. If that makes any sense.

Well, Alone..lets just say we sep in oct 06....she started dating again in sep 07...had about 5 Rs in that time...

Now, she has found this new OM, who she says..swept her off her feet..lol.

Now, the D is rolling. In a month, we will be D. And she will have him moved in and everything.

Now, Im the brunt of all that is wrong with her. If she is happy with him, why worry about what anyone says about her?
