Always, you have always been an inspiration to me. It is a blessing and a privilege that you are in my world.

BTW, I will be in AZ, leaving today. Phoenix/Scottsdale and then Sedona, 3 weeks :-) I will be thinking of you as I enjoy those beautiful red rocks and the gorgeous vistas.

E-mail me at PositivelyListening at gmail dot com if I am closer than I think to your neck of the woods.

Meanwhile, I am wishing you a beautiful holiday, full of friends and family, full of love.

Hi PL! Lissie is right....bleh! I am a REALLY slow driver! lol!

I'm about 6 hrs (normal speed!) from you! I do hope you enjoy yourself, and thanks for the email addy! I know your presence is more scarce on the boards (a good thing for you), but I would love to be in touch!

To update...life is good. Things are well. Getting ready to road-trip home for the holidays! I can't wait for my mom's food (it just tastes so much better than mine!), chilling out and making plans to move home! I'm hoping to leave in January (my boss has asked about the beginning of Feb, so that would be fine, too!). I'm really excited to leave! I really can't wait for 2008!

I think I want to spend time doing a budget, looking at financial goals, etc. It's icky and scary, but good for me to do. I think I need to enter 2008 with some definate goals.

On STBX news.....well, it just gets zanier. Are we shocked?

Turns out, via divorce discovery, I found that he bought, one spontaneous night after a very nice dinner with the OW of the moment (the one he takes out when he wants to enjoy the finer 'dates'), a SPORTS CAR. This, just 10 days after filing for a D, and signing a Temporary Domestic Order, saying that he would keep all transactions status quo until the divorce was final.

Now, this is a man who has not really shown interest in sports cars, and thought it was inappropriate to be driving around in an area with significant poverty. This is his financial choice over student debt.

So.....the next interesting bit. To purchase the car, and pay some loans, he took out a loan on his government retirement account. He did this, WITHOUT my signature, which is apparently required, and an crime prosecutable by the Department of Justice. He either forged my signature, or said he wasn't married.

I swear, you just can't make this up.

Always

Please keep us updated on your settlement and move. We want to know things are good with you. And we are really enjoying your alien's antics. This is such great stuff. I think the archives need to be updated with a not so fictional account of exactly what the MLCer can be expected to do. People need to be warned. \:\)

Hope your holidays are spectacular, but within the speed limit!

Thanks W2S....

Don't think this is fit for the MLC archives, as it's most likely not MLC, but something a lot more. Not a good measuring stick for anyone.....though MLCers can get zany and we have a lot here who have, my STBX has busted the mold on MLC - and not in any good way!

I guess that's why I post a lot less here....I don't want it to seem that these are parameters for MLC behavior.

Changing religions, manic highs, paranoia, hallucinations, wild purchases (sports cars and medical equipment), forgery, making up entire events, anger and cruelty, multiple OW, depression, the works.

I think a little magic pill is more like the solution here!

Happy holidays, to you as well!!!!

Hugs. I emailed you back.

Yeah...and I think that pill is called cyanide.

They say truth is stranger than fiction, and you don't really believe it until you hear stuff like this. Unbelievable.

On a happier note...

*****ALWAYS!***** I'm so glad to see you around! I've missed you. I'm so glad to hear that your plans for moving have come to fruition. Please give details: what will you do there for a living, will you have your own place or stay with your mom, etc. I want to be able to picture you there.

Be well, my friend, and keep us updated!

My h did the same thing a couple of years ago, while in the (hopefully) worst part of his gambling addiction \:\( He forged my signature, a level of deception I would never have even thought possible. I just wanted to let you know that your h is not the only one to sink to such lows.

When this is all over and done with, you are going to have to write a book.

Nobody will believe it is true!!

There can be no testimony without a test.
I am praying to go through this test and come out the other end with a new and better marriage then before.
