Sorry about the insanity you are being forced to digest right now. The night my WH dropped the bomb (while we were skinny dipping in our pool ) he proceeds to confirm what I already knew, describes his OW in detail then tells me "she's real anxious to meet you." WHAT GAVE HER THE SLIGHTEST IDEA THAT MEETING ME WOULD RESULT IN ANYTHING BUT ASSURANCE OF WHAT IS OBVIOUSLY A LIFE LONG STRUGGLE WITH BEING UGLY AS HELL????!!!!

Whatisis, et al, it's time for another round of "Can You Top This?"

I'll begin: I'm in the kitchen cooking dinner. Spouse is leaving for class. She comes in and says "Dinner...we have to do something about dinner! You go to class some nights and I go to class some nights and I feel like I never get to eat with you guys. Dinner together as a family is VERY important!"

Hmmmmmmmm....I know! How about you quit sleeping away from home 2 nights a week and I'll be sure to have a family dinner on those nights? Is there some etequette for prioritizing sleeping around vs family dinners when it comes to "very important"? I'll check my Emily Post!

from the old days, a note from H to Op about her asking him if he minded "sharing girlfriends" (read here= do you mind a slut who sleeps around as a girlfriend?" the response from H; "I'm a one-woman kind of guy"

Last month H was on the phone yelling at me that d is not an acceptable option because he doesn't "think we've tried everything yet to save the marriage."

Noble sentiments of course.

He skipped out of the country a year ago and is still overseas with no intention of returning. Honey...what day did you say you were free to see the MC?

I was on the phone with my WAH the other day and he was making all sorts of great promises about what he was going to do for me financially (I guess to ease his guilt about walking out on me and his young daughter.)

Me: How do I know I can really count on you to do all these things? Why should I trust what you say??

H: Shelly, I'm making you a promise!!

Me: Um, what about that promise you made on our wedding day, you know......for better or for worse......

He's clueless as to why I have a hard time trusting him after he's broken every promise he ever made to me during our M!

OK, I think I can top these. Before my H and very good "friend" were caught together, we all bought a rental unit. After we all were separated they put proposals on the table for me and her S. One item would be that we (me and her S) would sign the rental unit over to her.

When my H asked what I thought of the proposal - here is how the convo went:

H: what did I think of the proposal?
M: one thing I will not agree to would be to sign the rental unit over to her.
H: why not - what did she do to you?
M: UMMMMM, how about f'd my husband!!!
H: this is what I'm talking about - you will never change.

What does he want me to change? How to get even more stupid than I already think that I am?????

Me: are coming by on Thrusday?
Him: Of course, I am
Me: Okay. Because everytime you come you say you will see me soon than I don't hear from you.
Him: I will come by Thursday, I promise you because I keep my promises.

LOL "I keep my promises". LOL Since when?

I have to add one. I went to OWs house to tell her to leave my H alone and she said "I'm not pursuing him right now b/c he's married" Ya think? When did that stop her.

I matter.

My WAH has put our house up for sale. I have been packing up small things here and there, just stuff that I don't use all the time. Anyway H was being rather pissy to me one day and I said what is going on? He said he was upset because I was packing up all my stuff.
H: "what am I supposed to think, that you are moving out?"

????What is he thinking??????
