Believe - It's so good to hear from you, congratulations on becoming a grandma twice over

I lost my password and had to dig through some very old files to find it. NG has taken to hovering around me when I am on the computer; 'tis very, very strange.

Hmm...is that in response to your concerns about the screen switching?

Hi amd - I've not actually discussed the screen switching with him, and I rather suspect as I've been a little withdrawn lately, he is 'interested' in what's going on. And I guess the answer is nothing should be. My cainercast today is a good reminder that sometimes doing nothing is the best.

If it isn't broken, don't try to fix it. Even if it is broken, consider the possibility of leaving it unrepaired for a while. Deal only with what's urgent and imperative. Respond only to what's clearly crucial. You're about to identify a series of new solutions. You're on the verge of making a great discovery. You're approaching a 'visionary moment' after which you will see many things in a different (and more inspiring) light. Mull over your options and explore your imagination. There could be a much smarter way to proceed.

Seems like good advise Slowly

"Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret
when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked
schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret--it
leads only to evil. For evil men will be cut off, but those who
hope in the Lord will inherit the land." Psalm 37:7-9

STILL -

Though my dreams fall apart
And my world crashes down,
Still I will worship You.

Though my husband betray me,
And my children rebel,
Still I will trust in You.

Though my friends turn against me
And loneliness screams in my soul,
Still I believe in You.

Though my days are too long
And sleepless nights never end,
Still I have hope in You.

Though I fight back my tears
And my heart bleeds with pain,
Still I will sing praises to You.

Though all promises are broken
And lies seem as truth,
Still I will be faithful to You.

Though no love can I find
In ones I held so dear,
Still I will ever know Your love for me.

Though I feel I can't go on
And the world offers relief,
Still I will wait upon You.

Though I reach my lowest point
And I feel I can go no lower,
Still I will humble myself before You.

Though my enemy tempt me
And offer promises untold,
Still You alone will be my God.

Though all may seem lost
With no rainbow in sight,
Still I will believe in miracles.

Though I am battle-weary
And fall down to the ground,
Still You are my Weapon, My Shield.

Though everything is against me
And it seems I've lost all odds,
Still Your promises I hold fast to.

"Be still, and know that I am God."
I will be still,
For You are my God!

Signed,
The heart of a Christian

The Penny
You always hear the usual stories of pennies on the sidewalk being good luck, gifts from angels, etc. This is the first time I've ever heard this twist on the story. Gives you something to think about.
Several years ago, a friend of mine and her husband were invited to spend the weekend at the husband's employer's home. My friend, Arlene, was nervous about the weekend. The boss was very wealthy, with a fine home on the waterway, and cars costing more than her house.
The first day and evening went well, and Arlene was delighted to have this rare glimpse into how the very wealthy live. The husband's employer was quite generous as a host, and took them to the finest restaurants. Arlene knew she would never have the opportunity to indulge in this kind of extravagance again, so was enjoying herself immensely.
As the three of them were about to enter an exclusive restaurant that evening, the boss was walking slightly ahead of Arlene and her husband. He stopped suddenly, looking down on the pavement for a long, silent moment.
Arlene wondered if she was supposed to pass him. There was nothing on the ground except a single darkened penny that someone had dropped, and a few cigarette butts. Still silent, the man reached down and picked up the penny.
He held it up and smiled, then put it in his pocket as if he had found a great treasure. How absurd! What need did this man have for a single penny? Why would he even take the time to stop and pick it up?
Throughout dinner, the entire scene nagged at her. Finally, she could stand it no longer. She causally mentioned that her daughter once had a coin collection, and asked if the penny he had found had been of some value.
A smile crept across the man's face as he reached into his pocket for the penny and held it out for her to see. She had seen many pennies before! What was the point of this?
"Look at it." He said. "Read what it says." She read the words "United States of America."
" No, not that; read further."
"One cent?" "No, keep reading."
"In God we Trust?" "Yes!" "And?"
"And if I trust in God, the name of God is holy, even on a coin. Whenever I find a coin I see that inscription. It is written on every single United States coin, but we never seem to notice it! God drops a message right in front of me telling me to trust Him? Who am I to pass it by? When I see a coin, I pray, I stop to see if my trust IS in God at that moment. I pick the coin up as a response to God; that I do trust in Him. For a short time, at least, I cherish it as if it were gold. I think it is God's way of starting a conversation with me. Lucky for me, God is patient and pennies are plentiful!
When I was out shopping today, I found a penny on the sidewalk. I stopped and picked it up, and realized that I had been worrying and fretting in my mind about things I cannot change. I read the words, "In God We Trust," and had to laugh. Yes, God, I get the message.
It seems that I have been finding an inordinate number of pennies in the last few months, but then, pennies are plentiful!
And, God is patient...
Have a blessed day!!
The best mathematical equation I have ever seen:
1 cross
3 nails
--------
4 given

That's the whole gospel message simply stated. Take 60 seconds give this a shot! Let's just see if Satan stops this one.
All you do is -
1. Simply say a small prayer for the person who sent you this, (Father God bless this person in whatever it is that you know he or she may be needing this day.)
2. Then send it on to five other people. Within hours five people have prayed for you, and God has used you to encourage a multitude of people to pray to God for other people.

Hi there, Slowly,
A bit slow at work tonight, so figured I roam the old stomping grounds...

Your "name" is the only one I recognize here. {Well, of course Sage & Ellie (kml) too, but getting of the point }

Haven't read thru your recent postings, but in my usual fashion I read the first of the thread ... that put a smile on my face.

I'd say, not only have you done wonderfully at drawing NG closer, but even more like ... cozy snuggle!

'til (sometime) later,
KAW
