Wow, Sage! What news!

Congratulations! Does your H know anything about what you're doing? What exactly does being a moderator entail? Do you have to read all the posts in certain forums?

Best of luck!

Jennifer

Hi Sage,

Congratulations !!! I'm so glad you decided to do this. You have helped a lot of us here on the BB. I printed out your looking back Part 3 thread and am reading it. It echos so much of what I do, think and feel.

I'm glad you have decided to become a moderator.

Hey everyone!

Bridget!!!!

Jen, my h doesn't know (from me at least) about what I'm doing or even the DB site. We've never talked about DB'ing.

The guidelines of being a moderator are generally for me to reinforce the DB principles where I can, help folks get back on track (or on track!), start discussions if that's helpful, and then the admin stuff of closing threads, etc. I don't have any particular commitment to reading or responding to threads...I just have to do what I can.

I'll have more time in a few weeks (I hope!) when I'm done with school.

In other news, the people I interviewed with contacted me about the other job. It sounds very interesting. Unfortunately, it's not a slam dunk I'll still have to interview with a few more folks and they'll likely interview others! BUT, I'm going to use this as a positive and figure that I'm at least a few steps ahead in the game!

Hey Pam! Thanks for the visit!

I'm not feeling great this morning -- it's Monday and I'm at work and I'm just in a mood.

The weekend was not great -- well, actually, I went to see "Phantom of the Opera" with a friend yesterday and then we went out to dinner so that was good but the interactions with h over the weekend were generally weird. Sometime Saturday or early Sunday he got quiet and distant and what, down? angry? upset? sick? I don't know...but he's in a self-described "blah" mode where he frankly seems to not care if I'm around or not. Or maybe more to the point, he seems to not want me around.

I don't know if it's cavetime on steroids or if he's stressed or sick (probably both) or what but I have to admit that I'm having a very hard time with it. It's been a long time since he's been this way. I dunno...maybe the universe figured I needed a reminder of how hard it is to not personalize and ASSume. You know, a refresher course! (It's easy to not personalize and ASSume when there's nothing bad going on!).

Anyway...I'm trying to go with the flow and not crowd. I'm hoping he'll let me know if he wants me to do something other than that.

Hi Sage,

Sorry your weekend time with H was off, but I think everyone has to have those times ever so often!

I feel your not crowding and just thinking of all the good times you guys have is where you need to be. But that is just my .02 and I wouldn't rate it over .02!

Sending you good thoughts for your day to pick up!

Hey Sage,

Glad you had a good time with your friend but sorry that the rest of the weekend was "off".

I'm right there with you my friend. I hope the days picks up...for both of us.

As far as your H: I would chuck it all to stress and perhaps feeling frustrated with school....going with the flow and not crowding is the perfect thing to do.

Warm thoughts going your way.....

I was thinking about something like this today. I can go off on my own, it will be just because I am in an "alone" mood. H usually then asks me what's wrong and feels that I want to be away from HIM. When it is nothing of the sort. I would feel perfectly contect to just be ALONE and it rarely had to do with me "being mad" or not wanting to be with him. There are times I just want to be alone.

with my 2 cents, that brings you up to almost a nickel.
