Hello all

I am posting here because you can't start a new post in the Success Stories forum.

While browsing through that forum, reading all the letters that successful Divorce Busters have written to Michele, I couldn't help noticing that they kind of stopped around 2002. Are there more recent ones that I have missed?

There are many posters to this board, who when their spouse returns to them, leave the board, and nothing more is heard of them. (Some examples off the top of my head - Dragonfly, Kevinlost, ChristineE etc.) I am just wondering if they have all Divorce Busted, or do they come a cropper once again, or what? The majority of those who stay on these boards a while, tend to be those who didn't save their Ms.

I have been here comimg up to eleven months, and that's how it looks to me.

Can someone help?

Actually, my H and I reconciled months ago, and I still hang out on the boards. I know there are several others here in piecing.

I haven't looked at the Success Stories in awhile, but I had kind of thought there were more recent ones posted, but I could be wrong. I know JJ tends to go around and bump them back up again.

Well JJ , if you read my thread, I was wondering if I have the start of one or not.

Hey Christian!

When I look at where YOU once were to where you are now, I already see you as a "success"!

Your new self-awareness, understanding, and growth from where you started from has taken you to a new level. You should be proud of where you are now!

This is most often the first part of what it takes to make your relationship a "success". You are doing your part to help assure that you are bringing a new "whole" person back into a relationship with your wife.

Most of the time, it takes a while for your partner to "catch up" with your growth. They might fight it, they are probably going to resist the changes, but as long as you stay your course on keeping the changes positive, your chances of "success" are greater.

Keep up the great work, my friend! I think that you're on the right track!

I still lurk around a bit but I haven't been posting very much the past week or so because, well, things have taken a turn for the *much* better over the past week or so and I haven't been waking up in the middle of the night with all sorts of gloom and doom thoughts to dwell on. This site was not only a wonderful place for commiseration and support, but it was a healthy outlet for venting. And in having a place to vent, it gave me the opportunity to really look at what I was venting about and see 1) whether I had an actual qualm or whether I was just being over-emotional about something (in other words, was it real or was I just getting nuts about something?), and 2) whether I needed to present the issue better because if something was eating me bad enough to vent about it here, it was guaranteed to be something I would be bringing up to WAW several hours later because I'm the type of person who needs to get things out in the open.

Anyway, I'm a bit short on time to write a whole account of the past week right now, but for now, suffice to say that very many WONDERFUL AND WONDROUS things have happened that I'll share sometime within the next day or so because I think they could be hopeful for a lot of other people now and later.

We're a LONG way from having a healed M, so for now let's just say that in one month, we've seen it progress from being wheeled in DOA to being moved to a semi-private room in serious but stable condition.

What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
