Yay for the weight loss! Yay for the no surgery! Good luck with the golf tournament!

And Bets, it was really no problem at all - bathrooms are made for that sort of thing, and I definitely didn't mind tucking you in - what are friends for? It was mostly Mr. Positivity - he's just enthusiastically excellent like that.

Thanks for the potty training tips - my 'puter is going to the shop today to download some music while we still have that high-speed connection, so I will have to review them in detail later.

Love you all!

Potty training: I'm not bragging here, honestly wondered if others have tried this painless method of potty training:

We were on a vacation to Maui, where I used to live. My girlfriend's (who still lives there)baby was just over 2 years old and had recently finished up potty training. She was very excited, and showed my 15 month old baby the results of her hard labor in the potty. I had no clue what 'training' involved, but I watched, fascinated as one baby 'taught' another. I did absolutely nothing (but get an extra few days in Maui to let the training become a fait accompli! My already obstinate child didn't want to wear a diaper on the 12 hour flight..SHE was a big girl now. And she never had an accident, except once, about 6 months later when she was really ill...I couldn't believe that she got embarrassed about that (and of course I held her and told her that these accidents even happen to big people when they were sick).

So: I will be no help to my now grown kid when she asks me for advice with her baby EXCEPT to say: find a baby who has already been taught and hire her!!!!!

Bets: I am so glad about the news about Val. Whew! Good luck with the golf tournament. hope the weather holds...it's kinda threateningly cloudy up here.

And the weight loss: boy, after X left me, I lost so much weight my KID (the dancer) got jealous. I looked hot but nonly had eyes for then H who didn't have eyes for me. HOT BOD WASTED. It stayed off for 2 years and then slowly came back once the D started. I hate it, but nothing seems to work. I am certainly a case for those who stay weight gain can be stress induced. I am glad, Bets, that you are gonna enjoy that hot body and enjoy all those gawkers enjoying it to (at a distance, mind you....I know about your strong values re divorce first!) I have some adorable size 4-6s in my closet with tags still on them...maybe I can 'rent' them out to ya!

Have an awesome weekend Bets!
