Jeff, You are sounding better. Thanks for what you said to me, but again, I didn't say anything to you that you didn't already know. Like you say, good advice you had forgotten.

As Glenda told Dorothy, you have had the power inside you all along...

You will be fine.

besos,

Jeff..first, thank you so much for your patience and involvement with my sitch.

Many of us get confronted with situations that are ugly. Our buttons get pushed. We get angry. Oftimes we'd like to give our S a 'piece of our minds'. What do we all tell each other here? Let it go.

A mature person would have accepted the earrings and said thank you.

A woman without issues would never have sent them back.

A woman who would have moved on would never have written such a hurtful note.

Jeff...stand back for a minute and do what you tell me. Remove yourself and look at this. What does it say?

Just keep being a great dad and stay the course Jeff. Your outlook on your M, your life is amazing. Not only that, you have a unique ability to look at the problems of two people and find answers and hope.

Stay the good dad that you are. FIB

More bad news this weekend. I really don’t think I can take anymore.

My mom called me Saturday and she said she had a bad cold, no appetite. I just saw her last weekend and she went out with me and the kids to lunch – she was fine. She looked bad Saturday and I said I would take her to the doc Monday.

Sunday she took at turn for the worse and she went to the ER. Long story short – massive pneumonia in her left lung, she is not getting enough oxygen from the right lung, her blood count is low (the stuff that moves the oxygen around) and her liver functions are low. The ER doc said her pneumonia is a 9 on a 10 scale (10 being the worse) and he said she honestly had only about a 15 to 20% chance of survival given her age (she is 89). She is in the ICU with antibiotics and oxygen.

I feel so lost right now. I called my W to tell her and she seemed interested but that was about all. Not too long ago my W ADORED my mom. Now….

More later. Any prayers for my family would be appreciated. Thanks.

This place is all I have left. God bless you all.
