I have never been able to figure out how to use the search feature here. Others pull up previous posters and old threads but every time I try to search...

I either get specific data is too wide you can only search within 3 months...

Or if I try to change the dates... I still get nothing.

Are there any tips to search for posts by a specific person???

Frankly I don't understand the date range... Newer than??? Older than???

Any help is appreciated. Was reading a thread that didn't have the new link at end of a locked thread. Wanted to continue.

THANKS!

If you can remember, which thread didn't have a link at the end of the locked thread and I will be happy to add the link. BTW, I do not like the format for the search section because it is confusing. I've had trouble searching for subjects there as well.

Thanks!!!

This was the thread end - https://www.divorcebusting.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2834529&page=12

Poster was Living.

Maybe there wasn't another thread? But, I didn't get that feeling from the prior posts. Thanks!

Click on the link you provided. I have now added the "new thread" link. No new responses from Living since December 2019.

You are quite welcome. You can also click on the poster's name and then select show forum posts. Then you can selected threads created or ones that they have posted on.

I've never been able to get the search function to work either. I usually get "The specified date range is too wide. The maximum date range you can search with is 3 months." or no results at all, so I kind of gave up on it.

Searching "divorcebusting + topic" works pretty well in search engines outside the site say via google, giving you links to what you want in the forum. Worked for me a couple times.

I may give that a try nextime... R2C seems to always post links so he must be a pro at getting the search engine to work??
