My s8 is doing a class project about the United Kingdom and needs post cards / pictures....

Twin, someone donated a book of postcards to the charity bookstore this week. I was looking at them yesterday, wondering what to do with them. I'll call in today and see if they are still there....

It's a charming collection of postcards actually. All sent to one woman - collected over 20+ years and carefully stored in a photo album (I've taken them out of the album.) It looks as though she worked as a Matron.
There are 85 postcards, all of UK locations. I haven't blacked out her details or anything. I figure this lady has either passed on, or would be very pleased to know her carefully collected cards are being used in this way.
I have written a little note with them - from Becky (not my real name!) and included my email address. I hope the kids enjoy them!

Hi twinmom. Sorry to jump in, but your post made me think. This forum has been such a friend to me - I don't really know how I'd be without it. sharing, support, advice from people all over the world. It makes me feel like I am not alone in this messed up situation. But you made me think of how many people this is actually happening to. You are just a couple miles from me. This made me think of all the people that I could run into every day that are going through this same pain and how many are not involved with such a fine support group.
