Easter went and I took the kids to church, W wanted to come along so she went with us and it's always a plus if I see my kids happy. D19 was also here last week for spring break. She saw our arrangement, well my room and she was a bit shock. Seem her expression that hits her that this separation is more serious than she think. But she seemed to shook it off, she is doing well accepting the situation.
Me I've been busy! The 2 weekdays I don't have the 2 boys, I visit them for about an hour then I ride my bike. By the time I get home, it's dinner time, a little bit of work then sleep. Not a lot of time to spare.
The two weekdays I have the boys, that's even busier lol! And the weekends I have them is booked. I joined a meet up group for single parents that take their kids to places plus s14 has basketball on Sundays.
When I don't have them in the weekends, more bike riding on Saturdays with a group...big group about 40 riders, we do about 40 miles in a little over 2 hrs. It's fun as heck cause it is fast no time to think of the sitch! Sundays is my downtime, but I still have to do errands.
So that's my new normal in the meantime. I'm somewhat getting used to it. The interactions with W, well she's been really nice to me. I noticed when I visit the boys that she hangs out with me. She does all the small talk and she's been stating to me a lot lately. Sometimes I wonder what she's thinking, but I remind myself not to focus on her and to continue my path.
