Hey True!

Interesting how different the world looks one year to the next. I was happy to see you post. I was thinking about you the other day. (Really, I was!)

Keep posting, I like reading what you have to say.

Aloha,

Wendy

Hey Grit,
Happy belated birthday and it is good to catch up on you and read the updates. If I get down your way this summer, I may give you a ring and of course you know your way to the Little Friday Patio!!

Cheers

Hello my friends. Sorry for the long delay in getting back here.

So much to share.

I got married 2/16 to the wonderful woman previously mentioned. We bought a new home together. And I now have two wonderful stepsons ages 11 and 12 that I love very much.

And...

We are having a baby due 11/27.

Some very sad news too and one of the hardest days of my life. this past Tuesday my dog of twelve years and best friend had to be put down.

I am really feeling a horrible loss still that I have not ever felt. I knew this day would come but it was a very quick turn of events and I was not prepared for it.

It is a very good reminder to live my life to its greatest potential and I treasure every day he was in my life.

I hope everyone is well and I will try to catch up soon. Life has been very busy!

My goal is to some day be the person my dog thinks I am

Sorry to hear about your dog, gritter. Always tough, even when we expect it.

Great to hear about other "events" in your life! Get ready for the diapers... wink

First things first. I am so very happy for you. Congrats all around on getting married and having two children come into your life.

And a baby!!!! So excited for you, T. Really and truly. You have been in my prayers often.

I am so sorry about your dog. I know what an important part they play in our lives.

Please keep in touch.

Hi Tg, thanks for your post of updating your info.

I have a couple of your posts from a while ago that I copied into my DB notes to look at and I have appreciated the wisdom there.

I'm so happy to hear of your new M and baby on the way! You've learned so many things here through this process. May it be the M you have wanted and may you continue your journey of being true to yourself.

I'm so sorry about the loss of your precious dog. Last year when my H had moved out we lost both our dogs (8 years and 9 years we had them). It is quite difficult (one was expected and the other disappeared). It sounds like you had a really special R with this dog and one that impacted your view of trust in your whole life. Many people never have that opportunity so I'm glad you had it and treasured the time you had together.

Wishing you the best,
reachingHigher
