I know what you mean. I had thoughts that my WAW was reading my posts. But that was a 2 a.m. thought.

Not to hijack the thread... but does anyone know of a case where the WAS found this site and read the LBS thread?

Seems like that could be a real disaster of biblical proportions!

Keep your chin up SG... People's moods and opinions change very rapidly. You never know how this will turn out. Not at least until the fat lady sings!

I can see where that would be a disaster. So I heard from my attorney yesterday. the judge has ruled that I need to pay $900 a month in alimony.

I assume that's the temporary settlement, right?

Is that amount a surprise or not?

That is the temporary order. She was looking for $2000 a month. Aren't we all. I'm surprised because it is a short term marriage. She can work. They are saying that she can't. She was working for her father before this happened but magically she is unemployed now. It makes me sick to my stomach.

I wouldn't pin this on your W...it's the lawyer doing what lawyers do best.

- Me = 32 y/o
- WAW = 32 y/o
- M = 2.5 yrs, T = 12.5 yrs
- No kids
- Bomb, WAW moved out, D filed = 8/15/08

Hi COG,
I know that this is a combination of her lawyer and her father. She told me in the past that she wouldn't ask for alimony. That all she wanted was the dog. Still, it hurts..
