Ok I was feeling much better after the muscle relaxer and icing my back. Tomorrow I will be seeing a chiropracter since that is what my Dr suggested.

H finally called, he truly was sorry he missed my call and I know that he felt really bad. He said I am on my way. He was on conference call after conference call.

I felt a bit better after the meds, so we went to the conference with s6. My h was so attentive and participatory with the teacher. S6 at least is doing well in school and the teacher is pleased with his progress so far.

Then h suggested we go out to lunch and spend time with s6 since d4 was in school today. We had a nice lunch and h was so attentive, since he knew my back was in pain.

We did a little shopping at target.

Then we took s6 to the Dr together since he seemed to be having nose issues. Turns out he has allergies. Then we picked up d4 from school.

I made a delicious salmon dinner and h played some slow music and ended up slow dancing a few beats around the kitchen with h.

He talked about our lives for the future as being so much better. Not sure what all that meant, but just listened attentively.

It actually was a very nice day. Then he left and said see you tomorrow.

NLT thanks. It is feeling a little better, but I am hoping an adjustment tomorrow will help. Not exactly what I want, but my Dr said I might have a rib out of place. Yikes!

At least with the muscle relaxor I can move and stretch.

Hi, Glam,
Hope your back feels better soon! I remember once in college I woke up with almost crippling pain in my back, but I was determined to get to class, and I had to walk the whole way bent partway over (like a little old lady) and stop a lot to recuperate. It probably took two or three times as long as usual for me to make the trek. So...back pain can be fairly debilitating.

Anyway, hope this resolves itself quickly!

Peace,
Dawn

Thanks Dawn. I was amazed I was moving, stretching, it was a perfect morning. I was bent over helping d4 get dressed and just like that I was practically crippled.

You are right the pain was severe. H was calling me his little old lady. Not so sure I liked the sound of that, but by the way I was walking I could see why h was making those comments. He meant it in a nice way.

What a nice day you had. Too bad your back is giving you problems but it was a good test for your H. He really came thru.

A nice day, and you are looking good, at least on the outside. Dropping from sz 10 to sz 6, that's pretty good!

Sorry about the physical problems. This too will pass!

I have a smile inside when I think of you, GG, rebuilding with your husband. It's a good thing you are doing together.

Sirprize you make me smile. I often don't think of it as rebuilding, but that is a good way to look at it.

In my mind, you rebuild once they are home, but maybe that is why I am struggling because I am looking at this all wrong.

Thanks for another perspective. I am going to try to keep that in mind when I get to struggling or discouragment.

You are rebuilding! This is good stuff happening here!
It's hard I know, and you want so much more. But this is giving him space, no pressure, and he is coming around. slowly slowly. Slower than you want. But he is coming to you.
This is so good!

Ok my back feels so much better. The chiropracter made a minor adjustment and it was like wow I can move. Still some pain but feels so much better.

I will be back on Monday and that could possibly be it for adjustments.

I also had a personal training session this morning. That session went well, learned how to work all the equipment, so now I can add some newness to my routine.

H is coming over today to watch the kids while I work. We will see what the day brings.
