Wonder! I was coming on to bust Beth but saw you here and thought I'd say hi. I think of you at times and wonder how you're doing. No pun intended. ;\)

I think it's great you still have a good R with your ex SIL. I do also with mine and it's really nice. In fact, all of his family still is in contact with me and some of them have expressed to me their dismay and shock that he'd do what he did.

I think maybe for your SIL and others who have lost spouses to death it may be easier to let go. There's a finality to it. We didn't have the luxury of closure. I'm not saying it's easy to lose someone through death b/c it most certainly isn't. But you said they were happy and loving. That makes a difference. In our Rs it was much different. They left for whatever reason, real or imagined.

I hope you're doing well. You sound as though things are going well for you. I wish you the best.

PS Oh yeah, hi Bethie! I missed you this weekend!

This is really a tribute to her H. He must have made her love being M'd to him and wants that in her life again. I truly hope she gets it.

Wonder,

In someways I do think it's easier. When a spouse dies you only remember the good stuff. They didn't leave because they wanted to, or leave you with all the junk that we have to sort through in order to find ourselves again.

I have a girlfriend whose husband died and 3 years later she was remarried. I just think that that's the difference. We're down for the count and it takes awhile for us to regain our footing.

Glad you stopped by. It's always great to get your imput. As an outlaw with a family that I was always close to (or thought so) I think it's great that your inlaws have remained close with you. That speaks volumes towards their character.

Love,
Bethie

Morning Bethie!

I hope your Monday goes better as you hoped.

You are the Poster Girl for "Gettalife.com". WOW - what a fun weekend you had.

So - Fly Fishing Magazine, huh? I'd better get me one of those for the cottage.

Have a great week, girlfriend.

By the way - Iowa played Northwestern on Sat (the game I was at). You don't have anyone attending there do you?

Rock star!

Love it

I am saving up for that Wii fitness, which is no fun. But the goal of having the stomach of Janet Jackson still is close to my heart.

I will watch chick flicks with you. (ignore figgy, she cries at other stuff at the drop of a hat, jeeepers)

I have to admit my fav movie is not a chick flick, but a guy flick. I love Fight Club, I have seen so many times my DVD is scratched.

I can't wait to go see the new Sparks movie, maybe this weekend if everything is ok with papi and surgery.

So when you come to NJ already we can Rock star it, wine it, and cry at the sappy movies.

Mickey will buy whatever girlie things we need from the store.

Have a great day mamma!
