What's new pussycat? Woah, woah
What's new pussycat? Woah, woah, wow!

Pussycat, Pussycat, I've got flowers,
and lots of hours to spend with you.
So go and powder your cute little pussycat nose!
Pussycat, Pussycat, I love you, yes, I do!
You and your pussycat nose!

(Chorus:)
What's new pussycat? Woah, woah
What's new pussycat? Woah, woah, wow!

Pussycat, Pussycat, you're so thrilling,
and I'm so willing to care for you.
So go and make up your pink little pussycat eyes.
Pussycat, Pussycat, I love you, yes, I do!
You and your pussycat eyes!

Hey all
Chose this song cause, well I think Tom Jones is kinda cool lol reminds me of a lot of my uncles. AND this weekend I got a new kitty! that's a oxymoron uh? a kitty.

Never been a cat person before, always had dogs growing up, our dog died last Nov and I miss her dearly- only other cat i had when I was in my early 20s, living out w/a gf, and we adopted kitties from the apt. complex, I moved home to save money to get married, got married and well, lets just say thank goodness for mom who kept and raised my cat till she died at 21 a few years back- the cat that is.

Anywayyyy, she is on a week trial from the shelter, ( they work w/ Pet Smart to adopt out pets) She is adorable, \:D if I do say so myself, funny and curious, my only prob is hoping i am not allergic as i am to SOME cats. so far, i think good, a bit of a prob w/ one eye, but no sneezing or wheezing and the other eye is fine!
not really crazy about the whole litter box thang either, i have a weak stomach. Now B is gone, its up to me too. damit! lol

ahhh shes asleep by my feet now. \:\) She freaks if the speakers are loud and the i turn on the comp and she hears a mans voice say YOU'VE GOT MAIL, lol she runs off.

Had a busy weekend. what w/ the new kitty getting stuff for her, friends of B were in town so we met for dinner AND breakfast with them and had a barbque and had my parents over. For some reason cant shake off the tiredness of everything. blaaa ;\)

Hope everyone has a good week! Back to job hunting and...... scooping ;\)

Ok, I'm first. Line 'em up!

Well I'm happy if you're happy and if getting a cat floats your boat then that's great. I would love to get a puppy but I'm never home, and that would be so unfair. At least you have your parents close by in case you need someone to take her. My neighbors would help but I know me. There are somethings you can impose upon your family that you wouldn't want to do with friends!

Hope you had a nice weekend with B. Did you go anywhere fun?

You can have a drink too Barb.

Yea I never thought about a cat before , but I figured if I can give a little cat a good home, and they are so independent, not like if I were to get a dog, B and I want to be able to go away here and there and I know w/ a dog, you cant. When we went on our week cruise w/ the whole family, I was lucky to have my parents good friends around the corner and my friend C come by and feed and hang out w/ Rassie while we were gone.

Yes B and I met up w/ friends, dinner/drinks, they wanted to go to the casino for a few, so we went but I really wanted to get home to Misty, I actually called Ry twice to check on her LOL durrr once a mom, always a mom I guess,,,,,

I AM a cat person. Well, actually a cat fanatic. I LOVE LOVE LOVE kitties. Your new baby is absolutely adorable. Thanks for the photo. Reminds me of one of my fav kitties of all time, Tiffany, who died about 10 years ago. I LOVED her.

You can get self cleaning litter boxes. It's worth looking into. And I think the litter box is better than scooping up after a dog. JMHO.

So, I missed the hometown visit to Shayne's family - that's the one I wanted to see most. How was it? I thought he chose right last night. Noelle was nice but too quiet for our boy. He's really outgoing. I am not sure which one he'll pick - I really do like all 3 at this point. What do you think? I DID love Amanda's practical joke.

So "Blu" and I had a wonderful cuddle this morning and I thought of you and your new furbaby. Lucky lucky Karen. Enjoy this precious bonding time.

Wow... how is it that Beth is the first in line for drinks? I wonder if she has some kind of alert rigged up on her puter that tells her when a new thread is put out?????

Congrats on the new kitty, Karen. I hope you decide to keep her.
Which probably won't be hard after she snuggles her way into your heart!
