So P and I went out to a really nice resteraunt in Boston last night and then a swank lounge for some drinks. It was really nice to go out and have an adult night. Most of out nights outs have been local bars, etc. This was more of a night out on the town.

It was really nice. As usual, great conversation, a lot of laughing, smiles, eye contact. And man is she hot. I felt awesome walking into this nice resteraunt with such a beautiful girl. Stunning. Gotta say, I don't think I looked half bad in my new outfit either. Not sure where this is going but it's pretty cool.

Today was D7s b-day party. I had to run out this morning and grab some stuff etc. We barely talked at the party. She was on one side doing her thing and I was on mine doing mine. Little weird but probably better. She just turns my stomach now. Don't get me wrong, we were friendly...but ick.

S8 was telling me that she and D7 were battling this morning before the party and as usual she was dishing out empty threats to her - tellng her she wouldn't be able to go to the party. I've been taking a pretty firm line with my D lately and sticking to it. Friday night she lost her new i-pod for a week. I'm staying calm, giving her choices and sticking to my guns. So far, so good.

But anyway, she was sweet as pie at her party and had a blast. Then tonight we went out and got a X-mas tree and some pizza. All in all a solid day.

We went to Sibling Rivalry for dinner and then 28 degrees for drinks. I'd recommend both.

Well I think you need to find some hot young stud to take you so that you can tell H all about it.

It was really good. Really cool. Two brother's who have competing menue's. The short ribs were amazing and my espresso martini at 28 degrees was pretty great too.

I think its a brilliant idea for a restaurant. I remember when we first heard about it, we were both really interested.

haven't been to 28 degrees...whereabouts is it? I love me a good martini, though not sure about an espresso one. sounds interesting, though.

beth, definitely the suburbs. I used to work in downtown boston, though, years ago.

So I was battling with D7 tonight. She had been great for me all day. I think she was just tired. So I started out very calm but I finally had to get on her and put her in her room...she was totally throwing a fit. sucked. I texted P. She put my head on so straight in like 3 or 4 text messages and had me in there cuddling up with her.

She's just a great mom and really teaches me a lot about parenting.
