Resurrection Day 2007 HE is Risen & so it is time to Resurrect my threads on the DB board

With the change over to this new system I've lost all the links to my previous old threads - if anyone knows how to dig up the older stuff I'd appreciate instructions on how to do it

I've been around for a long time most it in the MLC section so I'm not really looking for advice when I'm posting here, it's more journalling at this point so that the Newbies can have some references as to what they might come across during their spouse's MLC due to the fact the Aliens will come up with some crazy stuff - but you can & will make it through this mess if you simply wait it out & get comfortable in LimboLand

I Thank God for Michelle's book & introduction to the whole concept of MLC & the world of Marriage help books of which there are many but hers is one of the best which is in the Secular Market & thats because she's writing from a modified Christian point of view so that she's able to reach the widest market of people without leaving anyone out she's using biblical principles in much of her way of addressing marriages without quoting the bible

Now a Re-Introduction since so many of those who knew me are no longer on the board here - I'm an Old Timer having 1st come to the boards back in late 2002 after finding Michelle's book Divorce Busting in the Walden Bookstore at the mall

My Hubby Byron is now 41 yrs old & is still in MLC but there's some light at the end of the tunnel

has childhood issues which along with his illness Sarcoidosis & drinking induced Diabetes & my daughter's being told to move out in the summer of 02 along with g-son who wasn't yet 2yrs old due to her teen-rebellioniuosness (which Byron wasn't prepared for their moving)

well Byron ran "back to the womb" so that he could do the Replay stuff which does get crazy & I won't even begin to get into -

if there's away to pull up all of my old threads & post them into one list so that people can read those early months -

it's the type of stuff that they make into soap operas except some of the stuff the directors wouldn't write into the script because they'd say "no one would believe this actually happened in real life"

2002
was the public begining of the MLC period of RePlay
I can not stress enough the fact that reading the book once & expecting the marriage to suddenly turn around is just fantasy -

the books are like any college text where you are given assignments to do & it's important that you do those assignments to fully learn what to expect

most importantly how to act & get a life folks so that you're not going up & down while the train wreck which you're about to watch before your very eyes will happen & there's nothing you can do to stop it -

those who I've ended up counseling the 1st words out of my mouth is
Accept the fact that there is Nothing which you can do or say which will end this MLC craziness today, tomorrow, next week, month or year even
which will bring your husband home this year if he is in Replay mode & hasn't finished the Process
you just have to wait it out no matter what comes out of his/her mouth or the actions
how you handle this time will determine whether or not you'll Reconcile later

2003
things got wild & is when I found out about MLC from a few of the Old Timers of that time

I picked up the video & tape series along with the book Divorce Remedy which was offered as a package deal along with the phone consultation

I put a copy of the Divorce Remedy book over to my MIL's house so that she could read it & see what I was talking about but of course neither she nor my FIL or BIL/SIL bothered to read the book or bothered to point Hubby Byron to reading the book

Emotionally the family was a wreck with
Prodigal Son going off for a short period into the Job Corps
Rebellious Daughter & G-son being totally upset with all of the turmoil
& Hubby Byron going through some major changes way off the deep end on the drinking & signing up for sex dating sites & the affair with the Poison Pu$$y Robin which lasted until she got married to the Moocher Joe of the Moocher Gang who are those losers who encouraged Hubby Byron to cheat so they could have the fun of drinking on Hubby Byron's dime

2004
I discovered Ebay & seriously started my library & research

Hubby Byron was still in serious RePlay mode
Prodigal Son went into the Navy
I was moved into a nice hotel from May until Mid Jan of 05

Sept 04 my dear G-ma passed away
went to my 1st christian counselor who diagnosed me with Post Traumatic Stress & I started on Anti-Depressants to help with all the greif which I was experiencing

Oct 04 is when I found out that my incompentant medical doctor had been misdiagnosing me for over 2 yrs & Byron had given me Herpes from sleeping with the Poison Pu$$y Robin

Rebellious Daughter & I had some difficulites with my MIL Mary due her denial of the facts & her enabling Byron in his pursuit of RePlay & Self Destruction

A day or so before Christmas FIL Jim & MIL Mary came to the hotel room & we had a very interesting discussion for my FIL it was an eye opener as he was told Almost ALL that Byron had been doing & the fact that MIL Mary knew about it but denying it except that what she had planned as a 2 on 1 turned out to be 2 on 2 since my girl friend CM who's known me prior to marriage & has been involved in our family life all along was there as witness to events so MIL Mary wasn't able to OutTalk me FIL Jim was quite upset over what he was hearing

2005
was pure craziness & Roller Coaster on the MLC front
Hubby Byron had to bring me out of the hotel to come live with him at My In-Laws's house
it was a bit of an arguement 'cause he wanted me to stay on the 2nd flr rather than be on the 3rd flr with him - I told him it's not happening
Althou it was the most horrible time it was arranged by God so that it could be confirmed to FIL Jim that contrary to what had been said about me by MIL Mary & Byron
if I was being B!tchy, well I had good reason to be
FIL Jim & I had a couple quick 1 on 1 discussions while both MIL Mary & Byron were sleeping before or just after FIL Jim was on his way to work
during one of those discussions is when I found out that in Nov 04 he had put Byron out for about a weeks time but due to Mary's fussing, whining & nagging he allowed Byron back in the house

I ended up having to change christian counselors but they both had the same name

I got help with Boundary Setting

shortly after we finally got me an apartment I stopped going to that counselor since there wasn't much he could do to assist me when the "problems" in my life were being caused by people who weren't going to counseling
so I just had to put Very Firm Boundaries in place with the family to get them into order
which included speaking as little with MIL Mary as possible

2006
there was at 1st an increase in the RePlay behavior but it slowed down & by the end of the year

bsaically Byron got a reality check & started I think towards the Withdrawal & Depression stages & is starting to head out of the MLC tunnel

Part of that reality check was the fact that Poison Pu$$y Robin & Moocher Joe did in fact get married -
for her it was the choice of the best moocher to suit her needs...
moocher Joe was legally divorced with no kids & the ability to save money
while dealing with Byron had resulted in public knowledge of her having herpes on the job plus the talk of the office
since it could no longer be hidden after I had her boss & Byron's boss speak to the 2 of them about the fact
that Poison Pu$$y had made it a company problem the day she called my MIL's house from the job in her attempt (march I think 05) to get Byron over to her house to party
I called the job & told each one of them if she calls again then I'm sending the berlin police dept over to the job to have harrassment charges pressed -

that was the begining of the end of that affair
when moocher joe & Poison Pu$$y robin tied the knot in oct
with the bed of adultery being sold to byron to bring home to me was the reality check the affair was definately over
that they really didn't care about him at all &
were just using him for what they could get out of him

plus Byron's parents got on his case about the fact that he took out more payday loans...
after they had paid off the 2 that were in progress back in 05

after the wedding Byron's health took a turn for the worse
with his lungs finally being involved with the sarcoidosis to the point that even sex for him was out of the question
simply going up & down the stairs had him winded & wheezing

In Feb 06 my Dad passed away from lung cancer & went to rejoin my mom who passed away while I was 15 yrs old
since byron never bothered to ask how my dad's health was doing I've never bothered to tell him that dad passed
Prodigal did hint at it this yr that Byron needs to ask about my dad but byron still as of yet hasn't asked

2007
has been a bit of a roller coaster of activity on the part of the family as a whole

Rebellious Daughter graduated from LPN nursing school & has started working as an LPN
she's had a couple of set backs starting with having her new used car stolen but returned (we suspect the guy who sold it to her is the very same who stole it)
an attempted break-in to her apartment as well as her car window smashed in a failed attempt to steal it by some teens

Prodigal Son came home on leave after christmas & stayed for a month which was nice to have him home but also a bit stressful since byron was hiding from the kids in shame i guess

Byron missed Rebelious's graduation so she was upset with him & then Byron blew off Prodigal's night to hang out as men so both of the kids were basically "Done" with him - thankfully they did all manage to reconncet before Pordigal's return to Japan

For myself in addition to trying to get this apartment into some semblance of order
I've been going to Intercessory Prayer meetings since last year & Byron's finding that I'm not going to be home waiting for him to show up & I may or may not be at church when he shows up & he doesn't find the car in the driveway

Rebellious is going to give me her used maxima once she purchases the used ford explorer that she's planning to get
so i'll be able to get out from the house a bit more
the wagon was not fixed properly as i suspected might happen with the mechanic that byron took it to

Prodigal is in the middle of his 1st heartbreak but is not ready to apply DB principles towards the relationship
personally the girl isn't worth the agony he's putting himself through
but Byron told me that I've got to allow Prodigal to make his own mistakes & hopefully learn from them

I learned how to call Japan - 1st time I've ever called out of the country
Byron was ok with that since I'm not trying to make a habit of it
mostly Prodigal & I chat via Yahoo
but my baby needed to talk with his mama

the other week byron & i had a big fight over the phone service
daughter helped us to come to a bit of a compromise
but last night i spoke to byron about my concerns
although he didn't say a definate yes or no about it
he did listen to what i was saying & i thanked him for allowing me to talk about my concerns
the simple fact that i'm unwilling to "save money" should be red flag enough
so we'll see how he decides later on this month

Well that is basically events in a nut shell
Puter is only 1/2 working something is in it which is preventing the 3.5 drive to work even though both the drive & the cord inside has been replaced
Byron's not sure what to do to correct it
so I've not really done much to update my blogs since I like to have the pictures on it
but once the problem is fixed or i get a differant puter over here i'll be doing alot of heavy duty uploading to my msn spaces site to get it updated with pics

I'm going to be taking some online training to become a better counselor
unofficially i've been counseling others through this trial called MLC & Standing for My Marriage
so now I'm going to be getting training to help me to do it more effectively

I'm starting to transplant the strawberries that I've purchased
with the days getting longer & warmer I'm getting spring fever
so to help me out I'm starting the strawberries in the small pots that i picked up last yr from walmart & i picked up a new bigger one this yr from Lowes
i'll pick up 2 more small ones from walmart this coming week before they sell out since they're marked down

I'm looking forward to summer with the jazz concerts in the park
something that I'm getting comfortable with is Being by myself at events
no it's not as much fun as going with friends & family
but since those people right now are too busy doing other things I'm doing what I can by myself
both the fun stuff as well as the rest of the stuff that I'm physically able

Any day that we can get up open our eyes & breath is actually a Good Day but so many forget that there are many people who went to sleep last night who have not been so Blessed to wake up this morning

Just some odd thoughts about H's sarcoidosis. Have been doing some reading that autoimmune thyroid disease is very prevalent, esp in men over 40 with sarcoid:

Thanks for stopping by & posting the links on the sarcoidosis - I'll visit them & bookmark them for a later time when Byron's ready to deal with the information - right now his motto is so long as he can deny it then it must not be so - a bad ingrained habit that he's learned from MIL Mary

Actually Sarcoidosis is prevelant among young black men & women especially high in those populations who have been or are in the military (Byron was 1st diagnosed with sarcoid while he was serving in the Navy over in Iceland)

they have had no explanation as to where it's coming from since sarcoidosis is from unknown outside sources rather than being inherited as most diseases are but more people are starting to learn about the disease with the advent of the internet

those who are in their later years when they go into their history it's usually found that the people had been suffering from it back in their younger years but that they had been misdiagnosed by doctors who aren't familar with sarcoidosis & the fact that it imitates many other diseases depending upon those areas which are affected -

Byron is in the 2% group that when it's active it hits the bones & eyes while his lungs are showing clear so the lung tests that would alert most sarc patients never alerted for us -

in fact I'm the one who told the general practioner that what he was seeing on the xrays was most likely sarcoidosis rather than bone cancer which is usually a secondary cancer after cancer has already been in the body but typical doctor mentality is that patients don't know a thing
doctor shashtri was insisting it was cancer & part of the hand would have to be amputated & of course he poo-pooed me for the research which I'd found on the internet even though it was from a college medical report that i found out the information about the stats on sarcoidosis & the fact that 2% of people get it in their bones & even saw xrays of what sarc in the bones looked like on the site

the orthopeadic & oncologist both said after the surgery that what ever it was it wasn't cancer that they were looking at so it most be "that disease that you were talking about 'cause it's not like anything which we've ever seen before a grey jelly like mass with what looks like sand in it"

You know the old saying about leading the horse to water but we can't make 'em drink... well that's been Byron since the sarcoidosis has come out of remission to stay since 01 when the above happened

the problem he's been in as much denial about just how bad he's actually making his own self - even after the docs have told him time & again that he's got to take his Rxs properly & live healthier... Byron was even threatened with being kicked out of the prestigious Remicade study which he was lucky enough to get into & so many sarc patients were wishing that they could've been a part of at the time

when Byron's ready to accept fully that he's got to eat & live healthy then I can once again start back onto his healthy diet, but alcohol for his body is one of the things which sets his sarcoidosis off on his body

I have no control over what he eats in terms of his diet while he continues to live with his mom so to worry about what he is or is not eatting & drinking I've given up on since all it does is give me stress over something which I have no control over in the 1st place,
when Byron's home again is when it'll once again be my responsibility to make meals for him that will help Byron to regain his health but for now it's something which God will have to deal with

LimboLand can be liberating in that sense once a person comes to be comfortable there - a firm set of boundaries in place & as observer only
Byron's got to handle his own messes & it's not my job to try to unravel the knots or pick up the pieces unless he invites me in to his domain of life
it's only my job right now to be available to encourage him along on his road in life & to be supportive of him regardless of his choices -

it's Byron's job to learn from the mistakes that he's making & to deal with the issues that he has from the past it's my job to pray for Byron at this point & God's job to answer those prayers in His time & in His way...
I've seen many prayers answered directly & others that I see are in process & in God's wisdom He knew that this time period although not what I wanted has been very much a time of growth as well as pruning for me just as much as it is for Byron

When this is over it'll be all to God's Glory not any human will be able to take credit for restoring this marriage just like the vision of the dry bones

well I need to get this post onto the board I started it last nite before I went to Intercessory Prayer meeting at church & left it all night & now need to get g-son & self out into the air & hopefully Daughter will be able to come join us in the park later on & bring g-son's bike out to the park so he can ride it around

It's actually funny to read,

I remember thinking that same thing back in 2004 about my 2002 threads - as we grow & learn then we grow & learn some more & what was sooo upsetting back then doesn't seem to even bother us at this point in time - really amazing the healing that comes with growth as well as the peace which comes as time goes by

it's kinda funny to realise reading in print just how much we've changed through this process when looking back at the old threads which contain our fears as well as our frustrations & just how much we didn't know at the time compared to what we know now

how many old timers are still out there lurking or active on the board still? do you go back & look over some of your old threads just to see where you were to how far that you've come?

While reading a compliation of Watchman Nee's works I really had speak to me the word "God is waiting for You to cease doing! Once You have done this, HE will begin"
It is basically what the saying Let Go & Let God is saying

When this happens it is then that we are given the peace to go through this time of trial & tribulation of our spouse's MLC not sitting on the curb watching in horror but on our knees giving Praises to God that we're watching this battle but knowing that in the end Victory is Ours in Christ & the Battle is HIS

This is why I call LimboLand "fun" because it's through the knowledge that God's got this under control so regardless of what things may look like I enjoy the simple fact that each day I wake up to be able to see the work which HE is doing with Byron & with the children & the rest of the family

YES HE does vindicate me as time has gone on -
Oh I'm human so yes I do still get angry about somethings which happen or upset but the amount of time which I spend in those negative feelings is short -
I get on my knees & ask God what is it that I need to learn from what I'm seeing or hearing or experiencing & to open my eyes to know what (if anything) that I'm suppose to do, many times I find that the answer is that I'm only to pray & let it go & watch

I decided to copy this since there are many people who don't know what sarcoidosis is -

Sarcoidosis

A disease characterized by inflammation of the body's tissues, sarcoidosis is a multi-system disorder found in the lungs, skin, joints, eyes, central nervous system, heart, liver, kidneys, lymph glands, and other soft tissue organs. To the medical community, it is known as the "great masquerader" because it mimics other diseases and conditions making it difficult for doctors to diagnose and treat. Definite diagnosis is further hindered because it can dwell in the body in an asymptomatic state (no symptoms).
It is further characterized as persistent inflammation in the form of lymphocytes (a type of overactive blood cell) which causes the formation of what is called "granulomas." The granulomas appear as lumps or nodules (singular or as clusters) in the body ranging in size from a pea to a fist. As sarcoidosis maneuvers throughout the body, the inflammed granulomas create scar tissue and block the function of vital organs which can cause permanent organ and tissue damage at the rate of 20 to 30 percent of all diagnosed cases.
Sarcoidosis can present itself as shortness of breath, a dry cough irritating lingering cough, chest and back pain, weight loss, malaise, chronic fatigue, listlessness, fever, skin rashes, red bumps on the legs, arms, and shins, stiffness of the joints, swelling and arthritis of the ankles, wrists, hands and feet. Symptoms can sometimes appear and disappear spontaneously or remain active for a life time. Sarcoidosis manifests in the lungs 90% of the time and is often described solely as a lung disease. Irreversible lung damage occurs in 20% of cases. There are four stages of pulmonary sarcoidosis ranging from mild to advanced. Progression of pulmonary sarcoidosis is measured by the degree of lung involvement which may not affect the body in consecutive order.
For reasons unknown, there is a higher occurrence of sarcoidosis in the African American community. African American women contract the disease at twice the rate of African American men and have more chronic and debilitating cases. The death rate for African Americans is 15-17 times higher than Whites. For 18% of African Americans diagnosed, 12% have a family member (mother, father, sister, brother) with the disease. It is estimated that over one million people have sarcoidosis in the United States. Sarcoidosis is known to be fatal for 5-10% of diagnosed cases.

Byron's sarcoid is in the rare 2% that attacks his bones & only late last year did it finally attack his lungs - to what extent that it's attacked his lungs I'm unaware since he stopped bringing me to his doctor's appointments now that he's getting worse & his sarcoid doctor told him "You want to keep her she's good for you" since when I go to the doc appts I make notes & relate to all of the docs involved with his care what the others have said & the Rxs that have been prescribed as well telling the details of the drinking that Byron's done since the last visit since alcohol consumption does need to be taken into consideration for some of the Rxs -
Byron was unaware that the docs pay attention to whats being said by me as to whats going on in our relationship & his actions since a couple of times that he's missed doc appts I've had to explain to them why it needed to be rescheduled & the docs which are in the same complex do relate to each other whats going on so that they can adjust the treatment plan as needed

Thanks for stopping by & posting the links on the sarcoidosis - I'll visit them & bookmark them for a later time when Byron's ready to deal with the information - right now his motto is so long as he can deny it then it must not be so - a bad ingrained habit that he's learned from MIL Mary

Actually Sarcoidosis is prevelant among young black men & women especially high in those populations who have been or are in the military (Byron was 1st diagnosed with sarcoid while he was serving in the Navy over in Iceland)

they have had no explanation as to where it's coming from since sarcoidosis is from unknown outside sources rather than being inherited as most diseases are but more people are starting to learn about the disease with the advent of the internet & as it's being found in more people around the world

those who are in their later years when they go into their history it's usually found that the people had been suffering from it back in their younger years but that they had been misdiagnosed by doctors who aren't familar with sarcoidosis & the fact that it imitates many other diseases depending upon those areas which are affected -

Byron is in the 2% group that when it's active it hits the bones & eyes while his lungs are showing clear so the lung tests that would alert most sarc patients never alerted for us -

in fact I'm the one who told the general practioner that what he was seeing on the xrays was most likely sarcoidosis rather than bone cancer which is usually a secondary cancer after cancer has already been in the body but typical doctor mentality is that patients don't know a thing
doctor shashtri was insisting it was cancer & part of the hand would have to be amputated & of course he poo-pooed me for the research which I'd found on the internet even though it was from a college medical report that i found out the information about the stats on sarcoidosis & the fact that 2% of people get it in their bones & even saw xrays of what sarc in the bones looked like on the site

the orthopeadic & oncologist both said after the surgery that what ever it was it wasn't cancer that they were looking at so it most be "that disease that you were talking about 'cause it's not like anything which we've ever seen before a grey jelly like mass with what looks like sand in it"

You know the old saying about leading the horse to water but we can't make 'em drink... well that's been Byron since the sarcoidosis has come out of remission to stay since 01 when the above happened

the problem he's been in as much denial about just how bad he's actually making his own self - even after the docs have told him time & again that he's got to take his Rxs properly & live healthier... Byron was even threatened with being kicked out of the prestigious Remicade study which he was lucky enough to get into & so many sarc patients were wishing that they could've been a part of at the time

when Byron's ready to accept fully that he's got to eat & live healthy then I can once again start back onto his healthy diet, but alcohol for his body is one of the things which sets his sarcoidosis off on his body

I have no control over what he eats in terms of his diet while he continues to live with his mom so to worry about what he is or is not eatting & drinking I've given up on since all it does is give me stress over something which I have no control over in the 1st place,
when Byron's home again is when it'll once again be my responsibility to make meals for him that will help Byron to regain his health but for now it's something which God will have to deal with

LimboLand can be liberating in that sense once a person comes to be comfortable there - a firm set of boundaries in place & as observer only
Byron's got to handle his own messes & it's not my job to try to unravel the knots or pick up the pieces unless he invites me in to his domain of life
it's only my job right now to be available to encourage him along on his road in life & to be supportive of him regardless of his choices -

it's Byron's job to learn from the mistakes that he's making & to deal with the issues that he has from the past it's my job to pray for Byron at this point & God's job to answer those prayers in His time & in His way...
I've seen many prayers answered directly & others that I see are in process & in God's wisdom He knew that this time period although not what I wanted has been very much a time of growth as well as pruning for me just as much as it is for Byron

When this is over it'll be all to God's Glory not any human will be able to take credit for restoring this marriage just like the vision of the dry bones

well I need to get this post onto the board I started it last nite before I went to Intercessory Prayer meeting at church & left it all night & now need to get g-son & self out into the air & hopefully Daughter will be able to come join us in the park later on & bring g-son's bike out to the park so he can ride it around

Luckily for me the doc opted to not have to do the surgery & althou it's taken awhile with Rx the problem has eased up & appears to be going away

Yeah I'm working both my physical health as well as my spiritual & mental health

going on a mini-getaway to a seminar to see Neil Anderson the author of the books the Bondage Breaker & Victory Over the Darkness - the car isn't up to driving each way daily for the conferences so i'm going to stay in a local hotel which is just so nice for me to be able to have a nice hot shower - only have a tub here in the apartment
while i'm there i'll be meeting in person a girl who i've met through the Marriage Healing International chat - so nice to be able to meet in person someone who understands what i'm going through & "why" as far as standing for my marriage

byron's been in sorta withdrawal mode for the moment & in some respects it's bothering me 'cause time is of the essesnce due to my dad's widow wants the pontiac moved & he's trying to avoid spending the money to go ahead & fix it - again with the control issue & quite frankly it's pissing me off but i've got no control over it but i may have to make things unpleasant for him by calling his parents a bunch this week to fuss at him about avoiding what needs to be done - if he can go each year into the 401k to take money out to BS with then he can take out money to get the cars properly fixed & enough with the bs lines that he's giving

Wow this month has flown by so fast

The conference was great even though things didn't go quite as planned for me for the most part I benefitted by not ending up with the hotel room although the wagon suffered in the end

That saturday morning my daughter had to drive me in since the raditor hose came off with all of the mileage - byron had to leave work early to pick me up but he was being more than a bit of a brat about taking the time off considering he'd been told about the car problem early enough in the day for there not to be an upset for me & daughter - he finally arrived by 630p but i had a great time waiting for him to get there due to talking to a woman about the concept of Standing for your marriage & will be meeting up with the other girl from Marriage Healing International http://marriagehealing.org later on this month -

it's wonderful how God works even though the car falling apart didn't feel like a good thing it actually was on several sides
Byron had to hear from the firestone mecanhic what i had already told him about the choice of mecanhics last yr & prior & the fact that yes i do know what i'm talking about when it comes to needing certain car repairs - it feels good to have someone else validate me to byron & not have to see him ctinge as i'm biting my tongue so i won't say "I told you so"

I started a MySpace page for Marriage Healing International after doing an update on my own page & asking if they were there to help get some free recognition so I was volunteered since the site owners are busy ministering that made me feel good to be able to support the misistry in that manner since I've not go tthe funds to be able to support even my local church very much & I definately support http://marriagehealing.org if anyone is on MySpace & either wants to add friends to me or to check out the MHI Space feel free to check both of them out

byron's sarcoid is really bothering him this weekend he came over here monday & was limping so bad that even daughter noticed it & she said that he was even having trouble standing for long while they were at the storage place
God will not be mocked & Byron's now reapping what he's sown for the past 4 + yrs in the manner of physical pain for the neglect of his health in his time drinking & carausing rather than attending to his health & taking his meds properly - denial is getting a bit harder to face for him about his health condition for both himself as well as his mother mary who's been making excuses as to why his behavior has been acceptable & that I'm just overreactting & exaggerating his health problems all these years & that I don't know what I'm talking about

well let me get this off into cyberspace so that I'm able to make sure that g-son gets all settled in for the night

Hi Folks Just an Update & Sad Warning

been having difficulties with my computers after both were intentionally messed up by a member here on the board who I had opened my home to, so I've been unable to make a posting before now to give the warning

Please keep in mind that most of the members here are upstanding people & the majority of those who I've met in person have turned into long time friends that are worthy of trust & love...

but there are people who come to places like this & play upon our emotions so that they'll be able to steal -

so do be careful before opening your home to a member here or any other online forum -

I learned the hard way that there are women out there who will use their children & your good will to get into your home & then steal from you

Thankfully God watched over me & my family & I only lost some material items, cash & my Rxs & have to totally rebuild the 2 computers (or rather Byron has to do it for me) but the reality is that had that woman been a differant type of thief it could've ended in physical harm to me & my g-son

I do not know what the woman is using for her name on the board now but it is on this board that I had met her through originally last year

my daughter & good friends have advised me that I should at least post a warning to the others here on the board because it's possible this woman may in fact be planning to do the same to someone else here on this board or another forum in the very near future since the cash which she took will only last for a month or 2 depending upon how much drinking she does

Now for the happier updates

Prodigal Son has decided that he's going to stay in the navy for a bit longer so he's not likely to be getting back statesside until sometime next year if he's able to transfer to the cali base - of course as a mother it does make me a bit sad not being able to see my baby on a more regular basis but right now he's not certain what he wants to do for a career & he likes the navy for now so he's making a good choice for the time being - I'll just keep praying for the safety of the ship & him during this time & hopefully nothing major will occur in the war dept that will end up calling the ships in the oriental waters

Rebell Daughter is excited she's moved into a new apartment
Baby Genius is starting in a much better school than he was in last year & he's really enjoying school
Rebell D has also signed up to start her RN classes online & is looking to get a position that will be beter for her timewise to get Baby Genius to & from school
so far she's put in for an 11a to 7p position at a facility & we're praying for that to come through for her since it would be fulltime with benefits
she does have an offer for a fulltime position 2nd shift but she'd prefer not to take that one
she's also signed up for a temp agency which gives her the flexibility that she's needing right now

Byron's finally back on the road after being crashed into by a volunteer fireman on june 2nd
Mary was allowing him to use her old car for the while but she told him that he wasn't allowed to come over here in her car in her attempt to keep us apart - while she was on vacation he invited me over there on 3 seperate occassions so that I could stay the night with him $;\)$

Now that Byron's back on the road he's stopped by to work on these computers & trying to undo the damage that melissa had done in her attempt to keep me from getting online

well let me end this so that i can get to my mass of backlogged emails in my account

Things are slowly twirling on the roller coaster - seems that it's slowing down although not ready to come to a full stop on this MLC roller coaster

Wow crazy how fast things turn in the natural world as the spiritual battle is going on behind the scenes

I've not been here much since I'm still having puter problems but what time I've been able to get online I've been going to the Spirit of Hosea support group which is very private so that the genral public can't just pop in & check on who's posting since it's a members only board http://cadz.net is where a person can go through to sign up

I've also found a local Pastor who is a powerful prayer warrior & daughter & i are working on trying to figure the best way to be able to afford to get g-son into the school there at his church before the end of next week

Mary has pushed Byron forward & is paying for the attorney & court fees & I was served Oct 2nd with divorce papers which has put a weird screeching halt on all the advances that Byron & I had been making while Mary had done her best to keep us apart while he was using her car - Mary is upset that she not only had to lend Byront he money to buy the new car but the pontiac car taxes had to be paid before the toyota could be registered & of course it's my fault that the ponitac is sitting in NY & not fixed but the taxes have to be paid on it & the income tax check was directed over towards repayment of my old student loan - we'd paid his off years ago using the income tax refunds but in the recent years since he's been on his mlc journey he's been asking for the refund to be returned as injured spouse so the loan hasn't been able to be fully paid for & theres interest adding up each & every year on the original loan plus the accrued interest of the past & Mary hates that Byron's still married to me & she's not in full control - she hasn't the slightest idea yet that during their vacation time Byron had me spending the night on 3 seperate occassions

Having many mixed feelings & it's clear that Byron isn't committed to this divorce but that it's Mary his mother who's pushing for it, Byron's not thrilled about going to counseling but he is at least attempting to make it - last week he was late getting to me so he missed the appointment since I didn't allow for him to make me late for the appointment - I'm praying that during the counseling sessions Byron will open his eyes & hearts 1st towards God & then towards home, I've been lucky enough to be able to find a Christian Man Counselor which I think will be best for Byron & this man would like to have Jim & Mary come in for at least 1 appointment too since it's clear that Byron's failure to Leave & Cleave is due to the fact that Mary is encouraging Byron to stay there which mary confirmed herself last week Monday when I called over to ask Byron about picking up g-son from school & Mary was busy quizzing me about the divorce & trying to say that the atty told Byron not to have anything to do with me (now I know that the atty wouldn't have told Byron to be incontempt of court since the judge granted the Motion for Reconcilement with 16 months of counseling 1 month for each yr of marriage) so Byron's not telling Mary what's going on & has clearly indicated to mary that he's not fully committed to this divorce & that is irritating her greatly since she's paid for it thus far

health wise physically i'll have the problems from the car accident until God calls me home or His Day comes which ever is sooner (I'm personally praying for the Rapture to come 1st) I've gained a bit of weight but nothing compared to what I put on after I moved in with mary & jim & had to do the take out thing since Jim didn't want me to cook over at the house since mary didn't have the self control not to sneak the foods i was making & she's high diabetic & my cooking wasn't meant for high diabetics to be eatting - i think it upsets mary that regardless of how much weight that i've put on i've managed to get most of it off once i realise that i'm starting to gain again she's not lost any weight since i've met her & there was a time when she was only a size 8 but that was many many yrs ago when i met her she was a size 20 & she's only gained over the years & even a whole year after having that tube/belt type of sugery to lose weight she's still not lost any weight that is visible after a yr - a jeaous & jezebel spirit is in that woman & i'm praying for her that some how God touch her & open her eyes to the need that she has for Him & salvation

well I've got to get dressed for the day - got appointment later on today & with this icey storm it's going to be slow going & I've got to find a sweater to wear along with the warm woolie socks which I've got somewhere in the laundry that just got back from the washers

Wow it's been over a year since I've last been on my thread & I wanted to Give my Praise Report & Glory to God here & let everyone know that YES GOD CAN & DOES RESTORE MARRIAGES

Oh it's might not happen tomorrow, or next week or next month or even next year...
But if you do as 1st Cor 7 says & Remain Single Or Reconcile God will honor you as you honor His Word & He Will Restore The Covenant Marriage since it will bring Glory to Him!

No matter what it may look like in the natural God does have everything under control & He will do His Will & Work in our families lives but we must Pray in Faith Beleiving

If you've heard the saying that it gets worse before it gets better I say to listen & praise God when your prayers seem to stir up troubles it's because there is a war going on in the heavenlies & just like Daniel had to wait for the angel to get through, your blessing is on it's way but there's warfare going on that may be making it appear to be late - but God's Time isn't Our Time so just Hold On

Only God can change hearts & He has done that with Byron as well as much work on me to become the wife that Byron needs

I've grown spiritually as well as in experience through all of this in the 6 yrs since this started - who knew that I'd be taking part in ministry helping online & via phone others who have found themselves in similar sitches
Its so awesome to see how God has worked in my life & although I wouldn't have volunteered to go through all that I have I'm glad looking back that God guided me 1st here to the DB board & then on to the many other places on the web & in person to the many people who I have met during this time period

After a short while I found a ministers website with the same name which led me to other other ministries in support of Covenant Marrriage Standers & other directions for my spiritual growth in the area of spiritual warfare

God is awesome in how He will allow us time for the milk but there does come a time for Meat & God requires that we "move on" to the steak & potatoes instead of milk & porridge
God has guided me to learn about the truth of spiritual warfare & how important that we take back that which satan has stolen from us through this warfare - God will honor us when we honor Him & when we honestly & earnestly seek His ways rather than our own ways - God wants our holiness rather than our happiness but if we're honestly seeking God's ways rather than our own selfish wants & needs we'll find ourselves happy even during the times of trials & having the peace which surpasses all understanding

There is a gospel song which I think it's Shirley Caesar who sings it & the refrain states "He's an Ontime God... He may not come when we want Him but He's Always Right on Time!" We must truely know that not just in our heads but also in our hearts

The post you quoted is from December 03, 07. Her new post which is dated yesterday December 8, 2008 is where she wrote that he has been home since September 2008.

Yes it's a bit confusing -
most of this thread is from 2007 with a great big gap in between the last entry & my update of Restoration last night
I've been on the board since 2002 but in 2005 slowed up in posting so much as God started leading me onto my path for spiritual growth & education into spiritual warfare

The Divorce was officially withdrawn back in May although Byron signed the papers to WithDraw in April of this year with Byron still not planning to come home as late as June

The apartment that I was living in had such a bad roof leak that in Sept I had Byron move me out into a hotel while we looked for another place for me & options for homes

A few more twists of the roller coaster & I knew that although Byron had said that he wasn't going to be moving home as we started to look for a home to buy for me...
he was saying what he did or didn't not like about wall paper & I knew that God was keeping His Promise to me because I was honoring my Covenant Marriage Vows

My prayer partner was one of the 1st to say out loud Honey I do beleive that you are Restored just that you don't know it yet
Byron had been staying most nights with me & had finally brought over his 1st duffle bag full of clothes
by the time we put in the offer at this home which we're in the process of buying he was making plans for additions to the house after we close & when he showed his mother the house it was official he's home for good what's left of his stuff at Jim & Mary's house is only there until we finally get moved into our new home

Only God was able to turn this entire mess around & turn those aweful D papers into something very good by bringing me to my current Pastor & church where they firmly beleive & support in prayer the men & women who are Standing for their Covenant Marriages - it's so awesome to see a church on it's knees praying for Covenant Marriages around the country & the world to be Restored as God's Word directs

The only thing that I can take any credit for is that I was open to making the changes that I needed to make & followed God's leadings when He was guiding my paths

1st He brought me to the bookstore where I found out about this website when I bought Divorce Busting
Most importantly I did the work that God required me to do
including doing the excercises in the DB book like a text book from school

2nd I stopped focusing upon what was going on so much in my own sitch & put my focus upon God - you know it's posted on all of the threads at least once "Let Go & Let God" well thats true even if it's hard to do

3rd & very hard to swallow but in my prayers & spitirual warfare I had to learn to not just pray against the OW Robin the girl who infected us with herpes but I also had to learn to forgive her & pray for her soul & even now her marriage since God has removed her from my marriage

Many times it's a stop & go back to the begining & the basics
but in all of this we must always look to God

We have such an Awesome God!

He Does Answer Prayers but we must pray for Him to answer
He Does Change Hearts but we must submit our hearts to Him
He Does Restore Marriages but we must be willing to let it go

Regardless of what it looks like in the natural... Look to God
God will provide away out of all temptations & will provide an escape
What the enemy meant for evil God will use for His good to those who Love Him

It's so exciting to be able to share my testimony of such a wonderful work that God is doing for my family
There are other suddenlies about to happen because God is no respector of persons

I thank God for leading me to Michelle's book in the bookstore back in Oct 2002 that started me on this journey
I thank God for all of the people who I've met along the way those here on this board who have moved on & for those who are still here as well as those who I've met elsewhere
All people who I wouldn't have met if Byron hadn't gone "back to the womb" because I wouldn't have bothered to buy Divorce Busting to learn about this website had it not been for that awful day in Oct 2002

True I wouldn't have preferred to meet everyone in this manner
but it was a road that God had me go on
Each & every one of us is here on this road for a reason
for some it's a wake up call,
for others it's God's way of drawing us closer to Him,
for others it's to humble & others it's to build up
each of us has lessons to learn through this trial & tribulation time

The question remains are we willing to learn those lessons

I have to go back and read your thread and refresh my memory I use to read on this thread a few years ago alot more and want to see if I remember you or know you from the other site....

anyway....great job on your faithfullness to the restoration process!!!
