Anotherstander I was a terrible wife. I do not blame him for leaving. That said I have treated the anxiety and depression properly with meds. I’m in a weekly trauma recovery group. I have a sponsor. I have friends. The reason he has a poor relationship with the kids is because they don’t like the person he is now. He thought they’d support him because you know I’m mentally ill. Thought nothing would change except his address. Thought I’d fall apart and he’d get validation that he’d made the right decision. This made me angry and determined to do the exact opposite. It’s hard at times and I struggle but I refuse to give up. He’s now angry because he saw this going differently in his head. Yes he’s said this.

I am happy with your story because while I’m not a saint I am healing. I am better. It gives me hope that maybe he will try again down the road.

Please start a new thread.

Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to.
The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
