Cessna - I think at least in my case that my W wants me to do the dirty work and be the "bad" one. There's also the confusion and depression that keeps them from acting.

In the reading there's a bit about this where it's common for the MLCer to say that they want a D and then if the LBS gets fed up enough to initiate it they then drag their feet.

It's part of the "script" I suppose, or just an other loop on the roller-coaster.

Thanks Andrew. I believe it's the same in my case too. Everything is so they don't feel guilty and can justify their behavior. I was confused prior to her moving out with calling me a "monster". "You ruined my life" just like I read in an earlier thread. No incident had even happened. She was citing things from a decade ago. But, that gave her justification and made me the bad guy. How long can this go on? Rhetorical.
