I'm so sorry for the situation you are in.

Stopping by the office with the kids for a walk just to brighten her day is certainly pursuing. It sounds like you realize that you need to detach, which can be difficult. You want to be very careful in how you proceed.

You sound like a really nice guy who is going through a tough time trying to take care of your family. I really feel for you brother. Depression is a serious problem and causes people act in unpredictable ways - this will make the DB process even more difficult for you.

Sounds like you're doing great with GAL and focusing on your kids. Stay strong, you will figure this out and be happy again.
