I wouldn't read too much into the apology. It's always nice to year but in the grand scheme of things it probably doesn't mean much. Why do you need to be kept in the loop? And how exactly did you say it? I guess my response depends on your answers to those questions.

well, went to pick up the kids this morning, i knew something was up so i pushed her on it, which i normally wont do, she is stressed about money, spent all her tax and family benefit money, so she asked me to get some grocery items, so i did....
other than that just a quiet day at work, started at 6 and knock off at 3, nice and easy. called a friend back in NZ as i was stressing a bit again, and had a big yarn that was good to do.
