The Mid Life Crisis Solution

OH MY GOSH. It was written down all along and I had no idea what I was going through at the time.

I have spent almost 5 months on this website and I had concluded that I had been through a MLC. People on the boards mention "stages" and I have been curious for a while now. Tonight I got brave enough to take a look and what I read has left me in tears.

Back then I thought I was alone. I thought NO ONE felt the way I had felt. I thought I was crazy.

I went through it all. Step by step. Forward 3 steps and took 2 steps back a dozen or more times. Even once, a couple of weeks after I first came here, I "went back" to that life I had while I was in crisis. But I only returned long enough to shut that door for good. Heavy sigh of relief.

I am OUT and the very last paragraph slayed me:

Would you be able to add insight to smr, me, bowtech, or any other H whose W is going through MLC? We could use all the answers and help anyone could give us!

I do try, lancer.

Every case is not MLC but sometimes it is really hard to tell.

I'm not familiar with the details of your sitches (except for Bowtech's) so I will take a look at your (and smr's) threads...

In the back of my head - WAYYY in the back - I think about my husband helping. Maybe one day he can know about his board and HE can come and help. We are healing now so what insight HE'S going to have for you men in that same boat....
