What a big elephant I have in front of me! Resentment for xh starting to well up in me for putting me in such a difficult position and for never ever understanding the stresses I go through at work.

It's no use to go back to yesterday because I was a different person then.
Work was tough. So many fires to put out. And everyone wants a piece of me and not in a good way.
Went out for a quick dinner and came back home to more chores and work. Got very tired of my more than 60- hour work week.
Chased after kid for homework and everyone got upset. Managed to get most of what I had wanted done done and we started getting ready for bed.
As I walked behind kid on our way to the bedroom, I marvelled at how quickly the little pumpkin had grown. She looked so cute in her pjs and I had this sudden overwhelming rush of love for this little thing that not too long ago could only gurgle and crawl. Where had that toddler gone?
And then I realised, I have kid and life is good. Every day that I have is a day I get to see this little pumpkin grow.

Definitely get strength from kid, I find that helps me regain focus. They are an absolute blessing, and give us someone to concentrate our love and attention to. No denying I miss that love from h, but baby gives me something to concentrate on.
